At the very beginning of summer, the entire Orthodox world celebrates one of the most important Christian holidays, the Day of the Holy Trinity. The bright holiday of the Trinity is a celebration of unity, mercy, love, and mutual understanding. It brings people closer together and reminds us of the importance of unity in defending Christian values and universal moral norms. In the face of the immense challenges our country has faced recently, we need to unite and rally the entire Russian people in order to defeat the enemy.

Today, on June 4, 2023, on the Day of the Holy Trinity, there is a great celebration in the Separate Order of Zhukov, Lenin, and the October Revolution, Red Banner Operational Division named after F.E. Dzerzhinsky. A concert by the children's choir of the children's studio of the Academic Ensemble of Songs and Dances of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation was held at the Church of St. Vladimir the Equal-to-the-Apostles in Balashikha.

The Dzerzhinsky Division is an elite unit of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, a kind of "calling card" for the organization. As one of the most powerful and heroic units of the National Guard, the Dzerzhinsky Division has always performed tasks of national importance, always being there to save and protect the people of Russia.

The choice of the Prince-Vladimir Cathedral as the venue for the concert is no coincidence – the Equal-to-the-Apostles Grand Prince Vladimir is the heavenly patron of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation. Having found faith in God and being baptized in 988, Prince Vladimir brought this faith to his compatriots. With the triumph of Orthodoxy, Russia gained a reputation for wisdom, mercy, and the unification of all its peoples. As the main cathedral of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, the Cathedral of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Grand Prince Vladimir evokes associations with military valor. Consecrated in 2021, the Prince Vladimir Church is now not only a spiritual place, but also one of the favorite cultural spaces for Russian Guardsmen and their families.

At the festive concert of the children's choir of the children's studio of the Academic Ensemble of Song and Dance of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, led by the artistic director and chief conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev, there were military personnel of the National Guard, including participants in the special military operation, parishioners of the Church, and residents of Balashikha. The event was attended by Vyacheslav Fomichev, a member of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Violetta Medvedeva, Chairman of the Board of the Moscow Regional Branch of the Russian Peace Foundation, and Nikolai Kuznetsov, Commander of the Dzerzhinsky Division, Major General.

The children's studio of the Rosgvardia Song and Dance Ensemble includes more than 200 children and teenagers, mostly the children of servicemen of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, veterans of law enforcement troops, and civilian personnel. The parents of many of the children are participants in the special military operation. Therefore, the young artists, as well as the choir director, an Honored Worker of Culture of Moscow Valeria Goryunova, and the head of the children's studio of the Ensemble, Captain Dmitry Ivashin, approached today's performance with a sense of special responsibility.

"It is a great honor and joy for our mixed choir of the children's studio of the Rosgvardia Song and Dance Ensemble to perform at the Church of St. Vladimir the Equal-to-the-Apostles on this bright holiday of the Holy Trinity," said Valeria Goryunova in her opening remarks. She noted that the choir has won various competitions and festivals, and most recently, in early May, the choir became the Winner of the 1st Degree in the international choral competition of sacred music "Crystal Chapel".

The concert featured the divine liturgies "Our Father" by I. Dubensky, "The Only-Begotten Son" by Dmitry Bortniansky, "Many Years" by Sergei Prokofiev, "We Sing to Thee" by Sergei Rachmaninoff, and other works of sacred music. "Hymn to Cyril and Methodius" (Vojtech Hlavac, Mikhail Rosenheim) was performed in three languages: Greek, Slavic, and Latin.

The young artists received a well-deserved award from the hands of Father Maxim, the rector of the Church of St. Vladimir the Equal-to-the-Apostles.

The concert was hosted by the head of the children's studio of the Ensemble, Captain Dmitry Ivashin.
