One of the largest army artistic groups of the country – the Academic Order of Merit in Culture and the Arts of the Ensemble of Song and Dance of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation under the direction of the artistic director and chief conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Hero of Labor of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev – attaches great importance to charitable concert activities. The Ensemble's artists perform for military personnel and Rosgvardia officers, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, participants in the special military operation, and their families, as well as for soldiers undergoing treatment in hospitals and residents of various regions of our country as part of patriotic and social initiatives.
A significant event in the cultural life of the capital was the charity concert of the Ensemble, held on June 9, 2026, in the Cathedral Hall of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. This is the fourth charity evening organized by the Moscow City Organization of the All-Russian Trade Union of Education as part of the "Support Our!" campaign.
Before the event, the concert host – Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, Colonel Igor Shustikov warmly welcomed all those gathered today in the Hall of the Church Cathedrals of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. He noted that today, on the eve of an important state holiday – Russia Day, in the year declared by the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, the slogan of the All-Russian Trade Union of Education – “Unite, protect, care” is especially relevant.
“These three words are the foundation on which our strength, our mutual respect, and our ability to overcome any difficulties together are built,” Igor Grigoryevich emphasized.
As an expression of the idea of national unity, patriotism, and continuity of historical traditions, the State Anthem of the Russian Federation was played in the Hall of Church Councils.
The Chairman of the Moscow City Organization of the All-Russian Trade Union of Education Konstantin Guzhevkin addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. Noting that the "Support Our Own!" campaign has grown from a charitable initiative into a powerful movement that has united the entire teaching community of Moscow, Konstantin Sergeevich summarized the main achievements of this movement to date. Letters of gratitude were presented to the most active participants of the movement.
Konstantin Guzhevkin also congratulated the Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of the Ensemble of the People's Artist of Russia, Hero of Labor of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev on his birthday and wished him good health and new creative successes.
The concert was opened with a performance of the patriotic composition "You Are My Russia" (music by S. Tulikov, lyrics by S. Ostrovoy, soloist – People's Artist of Russia Natalia Eliseeva).
The concert program was dominated by works of military and patriotic themes – "The Flag of my State" (music by D. Maidanova, soloists-Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia – Alania Evgeny Yakhin and Roman Nepomnyashchikh), "We Serve the Motherland" (music by S. Kardaeva, music by N. Smirnova, soloists – Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania Evgeny Yakhin and Roman Nepomnyashchikh). Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia – Alania Evgeny Yakhin and Honored Artist of the Republic of Dagestan Alexey Kholyavko), vocal and choreographic composition "Home with Victory" (staged by Honored Artist of Russia A. Safronov, arranged by A. Zarkov), medley on soldier's songs (composed by A. As the Ensemble's fans are well aware, each of its concerts is a "scatter" of works in various genres. The audience that came to the concert at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior today warmly received the performance of the People's Artist of Russia Natalia Eliseeva, who soulfully sang the lyrical composition "Give Me a Handkerchief" (music by G.Ponomarenko, lyrics by M.Agashina).
The audience was delighted by the performance of the Ensemble's vocal octet (led by the Honored Artist of Russia Sergey Bazylko), who performed the song "I'll Go Out into the Field with a Horse at Night" (music by I. Matvienko, lyrics by A. Shaganov) and the composition "Argo" (music by A. Basilai, lyrics by D. Bagashvili).
Medley on the themes of songs from the repertoire of Leonid Utesov (composition by Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Mazanov, soloists-People's Artist of Russia Natalia Eliseeva, Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev, Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia Grigory Yakovlev, Mikhail Zaraev and the Ensemble quartet consisting of: Honored Artist of Russia Sergey Bazylko, Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia -Alania Mark Novikov Medley on Belarusian songs (composition by Gleb Kardasevich, soloists-Alexander Kochov, Grigory Yakovlev, Lezhnin, Kuzmin, Bosykh), the song "Not for Me" (music by , sl. A. Molchanov, soloist-Igor Safonov), the comic composition "I'll take you to the tundra" (music by M. Fradkin, sl. M. Plyatskovsky, soloists-Honored Artists of the Republic of Buryatia Ruslan Samozhapov and Norpol Tsydenov) and a work by a German composerXIX Heinrich Pfeil's "The Lake Sleeps" in an a cappella performance – after each of these musical numbers in the Hall of Church Cathedrals of the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, the applause of grateful spectators did not stop for a long time.
The concert ended with the song "Glory" from Mikhail Glinka's opera "Ivan Susanin," performed by the Ensemble's choir.
