The ensemble took part in a concert dedicated to the Buryat holiday Sagaalgan and the 80th anniversary of the Victory

The Central Academic Theater of the Russian Army was sold out today - March 15, 2025. "White Month - Sagaalgan" - was the name of a large concert dedicated to two events at once: one of the main Buryat holidays - the New Year (according to the lunar calendar) and the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

In the first part, the audience got acquainted with traditional Buryat art - folk music and dances, as well as - with modern interpretations of the cultural heritage of the Buryat people.

The concert program of the second part consisted of patriotic works - songs from the Great Patriotic War, songs by Soviet composers, and vocal compositions by contemporary authors, beloved by several generations of Russians.

The concert featured famous performers and creative groups, including the Academic Order of Merit in Culture and Art Song and Dance Ensemble of the Troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, under the direction of the artistic director and chief conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev.

A pleasant surprise for all fans of the "Eliseevites" was the song "Khani Nuhedni" (“My Friends”, music by Anatoly Andreev, lyrics by Gunga Chimitov) performed by the choir and orchestra of the Ensemble (soloists - Honored Artists of the Republic of Buryatia Ruslan Samozhapov and Norpol Tsydenov).

The presence in the hall of relatives of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War and today's heroes of Russia, participants in the Special Military Operation, gave a special solemnity to the festive event.

The song “Oh, if the Earth could speak” (music by Alexander Stalmakov, lyrics by Oleg Milyavsky) left no one indifferent - the whole hall sang it together with the artists and soloist of the Ensemble, People's Artist of Russia Natalia Eliseeva. Responsibility for the fate of the Motherland before future generations - this is what unites all Russians today, people of different generations, representatives of all nations living in our great country.
