The separate operational Division named after F. E. Dzerzhinskiy is the pride of the Federal Service of National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation. These days, the legendary Rosgvardiya unit is celebrating its 100th anniversary. The division's combat path took place on the fields of the Civil and Great Patriotic War, in battles near Moscow, Kaluga, Novgorod, in battles on the Western and Volkhov fronts, in the fight against banditry and criminal crime.

Soldiers and officers of the unit participated in the restoration of law and order in hot spots, ensured the state of emergency, participated in the elimination of illegal gangs in Nagorno-Karabakh, North and South Ossetia, Sumgait, Ferghana, Transnistria and Chechnya.

The personnel of the division still stands guard over the peace and tranquility of the country, showing courage and heroism, performs combat tasks in the zone of a special military operation, establishes a peaceful life in the liberated territories, provides protection for state institutions and industrial enterprises.

The military personnel of the unit are regular participants in military parades on Red Square.

A large festive concert of art masters dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Separate Operational Division named after F. E. Dzerzhinskiy of the National Guard of the Russian Federation was held at the location of the division on June 17, 2024. Unit commanders, military personnel and their families, and veterans of military operations gathered in the central square.

The festive concert opened with a video message from the President of the Russian Federation. Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin congratulated the personnel on the 100th anniversary of the division's formation and the award of the Order of Suvorov to ODON. In his address, the Russian President noted the important role of the combat unit in the fight against terrorism, protecting public order, and protecting people's peace and quiet.

"I am confident that you will continue to be faithful to your oath and to our people, successfully solve the tasks set, and reliably ensure the sovereignty and national interests of Russia," the Russian President stressed in his greeting.

Major-General Nikolai Kuznetsov, commander of the Dzerzhinskiy ODON, addressed the servicemen, employees and veterans of the division with words of congratulations.

The festive concert opened with a performance of the Academic Order of Merit for Culture and Art by the Song and Dance Ensemble of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation conducted by the artistic director and Chief Conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General Viktor Yeliseyev.

The vocal and choreographic composition "Valor and Honor" (music and lyrics by A. Zaitsev, staged by the Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia – Alania Ivan Zhelnov) was performed by the choir (soloist – Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev) and the ballet group of the Ensemble. The old Russian march " Song of Russian Glory "(V. Savelyev – A. Fedotov), accompanied by the choir, was performed by soloists of the Ensemble – Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia – Alania Evgeny YakhinDmitry DolgiyDaniil Marakhin, Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia Grigory Yakovlev,

"We serve the Motherland" was the title of the song by N. Smirnov and S. Kardaev performed by the choir and soloists of the Ensemble – Honored Artist of the Republic of Dagestan Alexey Kholyavko and Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania Evgeny Yakhin.

The performance of the band ended with the patriotic song "Glory" (music: M. Glinka, words: S. Gorodetsky).

The concert was also attended by: People's Artist of Russia Stas Mikhailov, popular performers Anna Semenovich, Rodion Gazmanov, Pavel Sokolov, Sergey Noyabrsky, Sergey Lyubavin, groups: "Na-Na", "Brothers Grim", "Chelsea" and others.

The grateful audience greeted the artists with prolonged applause.

Choir group of the Children's Ensemble at the "Voices of Victory. Leningrad" competition

The choir group of the studio (children's ensemble) took part in the International competition "Voices of Victory. Leningrad", which was held from 8 to 11 May in St. Petersburg. In this competition, teams and solo performers from more than 10 cities competed. The choir group performed in the mixed age category and sang the songs "Childhood" by Y. Mixed Choir of the Children's Ensemble at the X Festival of Veteran Choirs

On May 10, 2026, the mixed choir of the studio (children's ensemble) performed at the opening gala concert of the 10th Moscow Open Festival of Veteran Choirs, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Battle of Moscow, in the Great Hall of the Meridian Central Concert Hall. The choir performed the following works: "The Song of the Soviet Army" by A. Alexandrov, lyrics by O. Kolychev, "Only You Could, My Russia" by S. Tulikov, lyrics by G. Khodosov, the Patriotic Song "Moscow" by M. Glinka, and "Be Happy, People!" by A. Pakhmutova, lyrics by N. Dobronravov. The event opened with a performance by the combined choirs of all the participating choirs, which included the songs "My Moscow" by I. Dunaevsky, lyrics by M. Lisyansky, "The Song of the Defenders of Moscow" by B. Mokrousov, lyrics by A. Surkov, and "My Dear Muscovites" by I. Dunaevsky, lyrics by V. Massa and M. Chevinsky.
