Today, on November 23, 2023, the military personnel and employees of the National Guard of the Russian Federation are celebrating a glorious anniversary – the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the information technology units of the National Guard of the Russian Federation. Exactly 50 years ago, on November 23, 1973, the laboratory of the automated control system was established, which later became the basis for the organization of all information technology units of the National Guard.

Over the past 50 years, the automation system of the National Guard of the Russian Federation has undergone many changes, including changes in its structure and objectives, as well as advances in information technology. Today, the information technology departments of the National Guard not only ensure the smooth operation of all automated military command and control systems, but also conduct research in the field of computer science.

A solemn meeting and a festive concert dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the creation of the information technology units of the National Guard of the Russian Federation took place at the Central Club of the National Guard on November 23, 2023.

The festive eventbegan with the raising of the State Flag of the Russian Federation and the banner of the Federal Service of the National Guard of the Russian Federation.

Deputy Director of the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation – Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, Colonel General of Police Sergey Lebedev addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. He noted the important role of the Rosgvardia's information technology units, particularly the new structural unit, the Digital Transformation Project Coordination Center, in implementing the Rosgvardia's Digital Transformation Program, and emphasized the high responsibility placed on the employees of the information units.

The purpose of the Center for Coordination of Digital Transformation Projects of the National Guard of the Russian Federation and the possibilities of digitalization of various aspects of the activities of the National Guard were also discussed by the Head of the Department of Digital Development and Information Protection of the Federal Service of the National Guard of the Russian Federation Mikhail Varentsov.

The event was also addressed by the honorary guests of the event – Head of the Presidential Administration for the Development of Information and Communication Technologies and Communications Infrastructure Tatiana Matveeva and Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation Oleg Kachanov.

As part of the ceremony, a number of military personnel and employees of information technology units received departmental awards for their outstanding professional achievements.

The concert of the Academic Order "For Merits in Culture and Art" of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the National Guard of the Russian Federation under the direction of the artistic director and chief conductor of the National Guard of the Russian Federation was a wonderful gift to the rosgvardeytsy on this significant day.Artist of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev.

At the beginning of the concert, patriotic songs were performed by the Ensemble's choir and orchestra: "Workers of War" (E. Shiryaev - I. Reznik) and "March of Artillerymen" (T. Khrennikov - V. Gusev). With a special feeling, everyone in the audience listened to the performance of the musical and poetic composition "Let's Stand Up!" (Y. Dronov, soloist - Evgeny Nasonov). The audience applauded the performance of "Songs of War Correspondents" (M. Blanter - K. Simonov, soloist-Honored Artist of the Republic of Khakassia Boris Dyakov), the legendary "Smuglyanka" (A. Novikov – Ya. Shvedov, soloist-Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia Grigory Yakovlev), folk songs: "Skakal Kazak "(soloist-Dmitry Dolgiy) and "Unhitch your horses, lads" (soloist-Honored Artist of the Republic of Dagestan Kirill Nikitin), as well as the vocal and choreographic composition "Valor and Honor" (soloist – Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev).

The Ensemble's ballet group brilliantly performed the choreographic composition "Open Wide".

As is already a tradition, the concert ended with the "Farewell to the Slavonic" march (by V. Agapkin and A. Fedotov), performed by the Ensemble's choir and orchestra.

The concert was hosted by Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, Honored Artist of Russia, Colonel Igor Shustikov.

On the eve of Russia Day, the Ensemble performed at the GKD

On the eve of our country's main holiday, Russia Day, a gala concert "My Home is Russia" was held at the State Kremlin Palace on June 11, 2026. The concert became a bright event that brought together outstanding artists on one stage, whose names are known to every lover of Russian pop music. The Ensemble's Concert in the Cathedral Hall of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior

One of the largest military artistic groups in the country, the Academic Order of Merit in Culture and Art Ensemble of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, led by its artistic director and chief conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Hero of Labor of Russia, Major General Viktor Yeliseyev, places great importance on its charitable concert activities. The Ensemble's artists perform for military personnel and employees of the National Guard, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, participants in the special military operation, and their families, as well as for soldiers undergoing treatment in hospitals and residents of various regions of the country as part of patriotic and social initiatives. A significant event in the cultural life of the capital was the charity concert of the Ensemble, held on June 9, 2026, in the Cathedral Hall of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. This is the fourth charity evening organized by the Moscow City Organization of the All-Russian Trade Union of Education as part of the "Support Our!" campaign.
