On May 24, 2024, a festive atmosphere prevailed at the Academic Order of Merit in Culture and the Arts Ensemble of Songs and Dances of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation. A solemn ceremony was held in the concert hall of the Ensemble to award the personnel of the cultural and artistic institutions of the National Guard Troops with state awards of the Russian Federation.
By the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated May 10, 2024 No. 325dsp for great merits in the development of musical art and many years of fruitful activity Order of Honour was awarded to the head of the recording studio, video and advertising design of the Ensemble, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation Ivan Sergeevich Gurkovsky.
Presenting the high state award, Deputy Director of the Federal Service of National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation Colonel-General Alexey Vorobyov noted that over 30 years of work in the Ensemble, Ivan Gurkovsky has shown himself to be an experienced, highly professional specialist and a talented organizer. He created a recording studio, equipped it with the most modern equipment at the level of the best world standards, engaged a group of professional sound engineers and cameramen, and organized a well-coordinated work of the team. Studio work is now an integral part of the Ensemble's creative activities.
I. S. Gurkovsky took a direct part in recording all the performances of the Ensemble during the festive events held at the State Kremlin Palace, including the concert dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Russian Police and the Day of the Employee of the Internal Affairs Bodies of the Russian Federation, the annual concert " Hello Country of Heroes!"dedicated to the Day of Heroes of the Fatherland, thethe concert "Thank you for your loyalty, descendants!" and the musical marathon "Immortal Songs of a Great Country" dedicated to the anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the award ceremony of the Foundation of St. Andrew the First-Called "Faith and Loyalty", a concert dedicated to the Day of Russia, a concert dedicated to the anniversary of the State Kremlin Palace and other performances of the Ensemble.
Today in the studio, accompanied by the choir and orchestra of the Ensemble, popular performers of the Russian pop scene record their songs: People's Artists of Russia Larisa Dolina, Nadezhda Babkina, Nikolai Baskov, Philip Kirkorov, Tamara Gverdtsiteli, Oleg Gazmanov, Alexander Malinin and many others.
I.S. Gurkovsky constantly works on improving his professional skills, perfecting his knowledge in the field of sound recording equipment, and mastering the latest developments in the field of digital and Internet technologies. I.S. Gurkovsky's many years of practical experience and in-depth knowledge in the field of video recording technologies have allowed him to create a non-linear video editing studio for television format and a web design studio. The videos created in the studio under I.S. Gurkovsky's supervision have been used in a number of television programs on Channel 1.
In the professional environment, Ivan Gurkovsky is considered one of the best sound engineers in the country, and he is entrusted with the task of recording the Ensemble's performances at high-level government events.
As part of the award ceremony, the honorary title "Honored Artist of the Russian Federation" was awarded to Malika Razakova, vocalist of the Symphony Orchestra of the Exemplary Orchestra of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, and Olga Getman, vocalist of the brass band of the Exemplary Orchestra of the National Guard of the Russian Federation; the honorary title "Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation" was awarded to Museum of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation Sergey Mazur; the special title "Police Colonel" was awarded to the Senior inspector for Special Assignments of the Main Military and Political Directorate of the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, Police Lieutenant Colonel Natalia Veselova.
At the end of the award ceremony, the artistic director and chief conductor of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, People's Artist of Russia, Professor, Major General Viktor Eliseev, delivered a response. On behalf of the entire ensemble, he thanked the Rosgvardia leadership for their appreciation of the Ensemble's work and expressed their willingness to continue supporting the preservation and enhancement of the best traditions of military musical art.
