The Ensemble's tour in Kamchatka has come to an end

The team of the Academic Order of Merit in Culture and the Arts of the Ensemble of Song and Dance of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation travels tens of thousands of kilometers every year to give their art to the people of the most different parts of our country. At the end of June, the artists of the Ensemble, led by the Artistic Director and Chief Conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Hero of Labor of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev, performed on Kamchatka.

This harsh and beautiful land is the epitome of Russia's strength and grandeur. It is home to a unique breed of people who possess a combination of strength of character, love for the harsh beauty of their land, and loyalty to tradition.

This is not the first time the ensemble has performed for the people of Kamchatka. In April 2025, a large concert by the military artistic collective was held in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, coinciding with the beginning of festive events on the peninsula dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. As part of the 2026 concert tour (June 25-26), the ensemble performed in two cities of the Kamchatka Territory: Vilyuchinsk (Meridian Cultural Center) and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (Drama and Comedy Theater).

Among the spectators who came to experience the art of the renowned military band were veterans, military personnel, employees and civilian personnel of the Kamchatka Region Rosgvardia Department, and representatives of other law enforcement agencies. Many came to the concert with their families.

"You are my Russia" – this is the title of the song that opened the concert, written by S. Tulikov to the lyrics of S. Ostrovoy, and performed with great emotion by the soloist of the Ensemble, People's Artist of Russia Natalia Eliseeva.

The theme of love for the Motherland, respect for Russia's glorious history, and admiration for the heroic deeds of the military generations runs like a red thread through the Ensemble's work. No one was left indifferent to the patriotic songs: "The Flag of my State" (music by D. Maidanova, soloists – Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia – Alania Evgeny Yakhin and Roman Nepomnyashchikh), "When we were at war" (music by V. Stolyarova, music by D. Samoylova, soloist-Honored Artist of the Republic Ingushetia Igor Safonov, "Smuglyanka" (music by A. Novikova, sl. Ya. Shvedova, soloist - Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia Grigory Yakovlev), "I was Born in the Soviet Union" (music by O. Gazmanova, soloists-Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev and Honored Artist of the Republic of Dagestan Alexey Kholyavko), "Rodina" (music and music by S. Trofimov, soloists-People's Artist of Russia Natalia Eliseeva, Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev, Honored Artist of the Republic of Dagestan Alexey Kholyavko, Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania Danila Korenev and Denis Tumanov), fantasies on the themes of songs by the group "Lyube "(balalaika quartet consisting of: laureates of international competitions Kirill Lavrushkin, Ivan Pivovarov, Rifat Akchurin and the head of the quartet Ivan Stepanov) and vocal and choreographic compositions: "Home with Victory" (staged by the Honored Artist of Russia A. Safronov, arranged by A. Zarkov, soloist-People's Artist of Russia Natalia Eliseeva), "Guards of Music" (music by A. Melnikov, staged by the Honored Artist of Russia Ivan Zhelnov, soloist-Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia – Alania Artem Melnikov) and "Soul open" (music and music by Ya. Dronova, soloist-Anton Baibakov).

The Ensemble's team pays great attention to folk art. The team's tour of the cities of the Kamchatka Territory includes the Russian folk song "Down the Mother Volga" (arranged by V. Belyaev, soloist Alexander Starodubrovsky) and a medley of Belarusian songs (composed by Gleb Kardasevich, soloists Alexander Kokhov, Grigory Yakovlev, Viktor Lezhnin, Konstantin Kuzmin, and Alexey Bosykh). Russian and Ural folk tunes are also heard in the song "Where are you running, my dear path?" (music by E.Rodygin, lyrics by A.Prishchelets), performed by the soloist of the Ensemble, People's Artist of Russia Natalia Eliseeva.

Thanks to the virtuoso skills of the Ensemble's artists, age-old musical traditions are given a modern twist. The romance "The Bell Rings Out" (music by A. Gurilev, lyrics by I. Makarov, arrangement by A. Rosenblat), rightfully considered a classic of 19th-century Russian vocal lyrics, was performed by the Honored Artist of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic Alexander Kokhov. The song "The Lake Sleeps" by the German composer XIX century Heinrich Pfeil was performed a cappella by the Ensemble's choir group.

A lot of positive emotions were aroused by the performance of a medley on the themes of songs from the repertoire of Leonid Utesov (composition by Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Mazanov, soloists-People's Artist of Russia Natalia Eliseeva, Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev, Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia Grigory Yakovlev, Mikhail Zaraev and vocal quartet of the Ensemble: Honored Artist of Russia Sergey Bazylko, Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania Mark Novikov, Nikolai Alifanov and Vitaly Lansky), as well as modern compositions: "The World is made for you "(music by S. Baibakova, sl. V. Biryukova) and "Lines on the Hand" (music by V. Krasnikova) (soloist-Valery Ponomarev) and comic songs: "The Boys Are Out on the Town" (music and lyrics by A. Kasiev, soloists: Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev and Honored Artist of the Republic of Dagestan Alexey Kholyavko) and "I'm Taking You to the Tundra" (music by M. Fradkin, lyrics by M. Plyatskovsky, soloists: Honored Artists of the Republic of Buryatia Ruslan Samozhapov and Norpol Tsydenov).

The Ensemble has a wonderful tradition: wherever the ensemble tours, the concert program always includes works dedicated to the host country. For the residents of the hospitable Kamchatka Territory, the Ensemble's artists performed the song "Kamchatka" (music by V. Khvoinitsky, lyrics by Yu. Garin, soloist - Honored Artist of the Republic of Dagestan Alexey Kholyavko).

The final "chorus" of the concert program was the "Glory" chorus from Mikhail Glinka's opera "A Life for the Tsar" ("Ivan Susanin"), a monumental work that vividly embodies the image of the great victorious Russian people.

The concerts were hosted by the Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, Honored Artist of Russia Colonel Igor Shustikov and the Ensemble's artist Roman Khudyakov

The audience did not let the performers leave the stage for a long time, thanking them with prolonged applause.
