On the eve of the New Year, on December 26, 2025, the garrison club of the Central Military Commandant's Office for the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation was filled with a festive atmosphere.

The solemn meeting of military personnel and employees of the Rosgvardia Central Office began with the presentation of the State Flag of the Russian Federation, the banner of the Federal Service of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, and the personal standard of the Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard of the Russian Federation.

The Director of the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation – Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation Hero of Russia General of the Army Viktor Zolotov congratulated all those present on the upcoming New Year, wished the National Guardsmen good health and new achievements in their selfless military work, and their families – family well-being, peace and harmony.

The Head of the Department thanked the personnel of the Rosgvardia central office for their professionalism, for the skillful leadership of the Rosgvardia troops and high moral qualities. To all the servicemen and employees of the Rosgvardia, Viktor Zolotov expressed deep gratitude for their steadfastness and loyalty to their civic duty. Special words of gratitude for the courage and heroism shown in the performance of everyday combat tasks, he addressed to the personnel of the Rosgvardia units on the front line in the zone of the Special military operation.

Rosgvardeys, who distinguished themselves in their military service, received high state and departmental awards from the hands of Viktor Zolotov.

The gala event ended with a festive concert of the Academic Order of Merit in Culture and the Arts of the Ensemble of Song and Dance of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, led by the Artistic Director and Chief Conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Hero of Labor of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev.

The concert opened with a song that is a must-have for any New Year's celebration, whether for children or adults: "The Christmas Tree Was Born in the Forest" (L. Bekman - R. Kudasheva), performed by the choir group of the Rosgvardia Song and Dance Ensemble.

Together with the Ensemble's choir, the popular singer and musician Igor Demarin performed two of his songs: "Let It Be" (lyrics by S. Kargashin) and "Reborn, Fatherland" (lyrics by N. Zinoviev).

The Ensemble's dance group performed the step "Winter Evening in Gagra" brilliantly.

"New Year's Kaleidoscope" was the name of an instrumental number performed by a quartet of balalaika players from the Ensemble led by Ivan Stepanov.

The ironic song "New Year's" by the Disco Avariya band (A.Ryzhov – N.Timofeev) was performed by the choir group and the vocal octet of the Ensemble led by Sergey Bazylko .

"And the Snow Is Falling" is another song that is strongly associated with the New Year holiday for several generations of Russians. Written in 1961 by the composer Andrey Eshpay to the lyrics of Yevgeny Yevtushenko for the film "Dima Gorin's Career", this lyrical song is rightfully considered a hit for all time. In the soulful performance of the choir and the soloist of the Ensemble, People's Artist of Russia Natalia Eliseeva, this song has left no one indifferent today.

Popular performers also took part in the concert, including Olga Glazkova, Vladimir Markin, and others.

The concert was hosted by Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, Honored Artist of Russia, Colonel Igor Shustikov.

Choir group of the Children's Ensemble at the "Voices of Victory. Leningrad" competition

The choir group of the studio (children's ensemble) took part in the International competition "Voices of Victory. Leningrad", which was held from 8 to 11 May in St. Petersburg. Mixed Choir of the Children's Ensemble at the X Festival of Veteran Choirs

On May 10, 2026, the mixed choir of the studio (children's ensemble) performed at the opening gala concert of the 10th Moscow Open Festival of Veteran Choirs, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Battle of Moscow, in the Great Hall of the Meridian Central Concert Hall. The choir performed the following works: "The Song of the Soviet Army" by A. Alexandrov, lyrics by O. Kolychev, "Only You Could, My Russia" by S. Tulikov, lyrics by G. Khodosov, the Patriotic Song "Moscow" by M. Glinka, and "Be Happy, People!" by A. Pakhmutova, lyrics by N. Dobronravov. The event opened with a performance by the combined choirs of all the participating choirs, which included the songs "My Moscow" by I. Dunaevsky, lyrics by M. Lisyansky, "The Song of the Defenders of Moscow" by B. Mokrousov, lyrics by A. Surkov, and "My Dear Muscovites" by I. Dunaevsky, lyrics by V. Massa and M. Chevinsky.
