"Oleg Gazmanov - 55 years on stage"

People's Artist of Russia Oleg Gazmanov does not need an introduction. The work of this Russian singer, composer, poet is well known and loved by several generations of our compatriots. Long-term friendship connects Oleg Gazmanov with the Academic Ensemble of Song and Dance of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation under the direction of the Artistic Director and Chief Conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev.

The festive concert "Oleg Gazmanov - 55 Years on Stage", held at the Crocus City Hall on October 28, 2023, was a real gift for all fans of the Ensemble and Oleg Gazmanov. The music and lyrics of all the songs included in the concert program were written by Oleg Gazmanov, a People's Artist of Russia.

Patriotic themes are the basis of Oleg Gazmanov's work. Today, when our country is once again facing global Nazism, patriotic works and military-themed songs take on a special significance. "Officers," "Immortal Regiment," "No One but Us," "Artifacts," "Yesaul," and "Forward, Russia!" were performed by the choir and orchestra of the Rosgvardia Ensemble (featuring Oleg Gazmanov) with tears in the audience's eyes.

No one was left indifferent to the heartfelt performance of the songs: "The Measurement of Life", "Wait for the Rain", "The Faraway Home", "Peter", "The Red Book", and "My Temple" – in each of them, Oleg Gazmanov openly speaks about what is important for each of us: about love for our native nature, for our roots, and about responsibility towards future generations. It is symbolic that young performers also took part in the concert. One of the highlights of the concert program was Yaroslav Dronov's (SHAMAN) fiery performance of the song "Squadron," which has become a hallmark of Oleg Gazmanov's style.

A warm lyrical note gave the whole evening the performance of songs: "Hope dies last", "Wait", "Mama", "My only one".

"This is all for you" is the title of one of Oleg Gazmanov's songs, which was performed at the end of the concert. This song can be considered the motto of Oleg Gazmanov's entire life and career.

The audience applauded for a long time.
