One of the favorite places for Muscovites and guests of the capital to relax is VDNKh. For the next six months, it has become a large-scale “projection” of all of Russia. The International Exhibition and Forum “Russia”, which began here in the fall of 2023, has become an important event not only for Moscow, but for the entire country. During these days, each of the 89 Russian regions will showcase their main achievements in modern technology, science, economics, and culture.

On November 30, 2023, the Samara Region Day was celebrated with a festive concert at the Cosmos Grand Concert Hall as part of the Russia International Exhibition and Forum.

The Governor of the Samara Region Dmitry Azarov welcomed the audience. He sincerely thanked his fellow countrymen for their selfless work, responsibility, concern, and dedication.

The festive concert was attended by People's Artists of Russia Lev Leshchenko and Vladimir Devyatov, Honored Artists of Russia Denis Maydanov and Alexander Oleshko, popular performers Taisiya Povaliy, Marina Devyatov, artists and creative groups of the Samara region, as well as the Academic Order of Merit in Culture and Art Ensemble of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, led by the Artistic Director and Chief Conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev.

Residents of Samara and the region are well aware of the work of the Ensemble –the famous team has repeatedly performed in front of Volga residents, took part in charity concerts dedicated toOn the Victory Day, he spoke to the participants of the SVO undergoing treatment in the Samara Military Hospital.

In today's concert, the Ensemble's choir performed the heroic songs "For Donbass" (S. Voytenko - A. Ganichev, soloist - Honored Artist of Russia Sergey Voytenko), "We Are of One Blood" (S. Voytenko - D. Maydanov, soloist - Honored Artist of Russia Denis Maydanov), and "Friendship for All" (S. Voytenko - I. Ovchinnikov, S. Voytenko, soloists - Honored Artists of Russia Denis Maydanov and Sergey Voytenko).

The choir was conducted by Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Mazanov.

The concert was hosted by Svetlana Zeynalova and Alexander Oleshko.
