Young musicians: repertoire and inspiration
The band members are children of military personnel of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, and other law enforcement agencies, pupils of Moscow music schools, as well as students of the A.G. Schnittke Moscow State Institute of Fine Arts, the Central Music School at the Moscow Conservatory, and young talents. Many performers are laureates of prestigious national and international competitions and festivals. Head of the orchestra: Mikhail Golovin, Honorary Cultural Worker of the City of Moscow

The composition of the Youth Orchestra is a combination of folk and pop orchestras. It includes: balalaika, domras, bayans/accordions, a group of wind instruments (flute, clarinet, trumpet, saxophone), a drum kit, electric guitar, bass guitar and a grand piano.
The orchestra's repertoire includes more than 30 works, including works by academic contemporary composers, as well as popular pop and film music. The instrumentation and arrangements are written by the orchestra leader, taking into account the capabilities of each performer.
