A PLACE WHERE SOUND BECOMES ART

The studio was founded in 2003. We are standing in the very center of Moscow, in a historic house on Lubyanka 13, where our collective is located. Modern technologies have made it possible so that no noises or vibrations from the street get here. The studio is equipped with the latest hardware and includes a studio for recording orchestra, choir, and soloists, as well as a mixing room, a video and photo studio, and a MIDI-studio, which allows us to solve the most complex tasks of arranging and mixing musical material. In all areas of audio and video content we work using the up-to-date modern formats

STUDIO DIRECTOR - HONORED CULTURE WORKER OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION, GURKOVSKY IVAN SERGEYEVICH

Gurkovskiy I.S. developed a technical project of the recording studio, according to which it was provided with the latest recording equipment. The recording studio includes: tone studio for recording orchestra, choir, and soloists; mixing room; video and photo studio; and a midi studio. In 2006, a non-linear video editing station started its work, with the purchase of two video cameras and all the necessary equipment for shooting and editing video material.

The studio is staffed with sound engineers: Sergei Pugachev and Alexander Basiuk, cinematographer: Andrei Bazhanov, artist-photographer: Maxim Komarov, and content manager: Rodion Evseev.

MAIN EQUIPMENT

In 2010, a MIDI studio was created. It consists of hardware-computer complex and Yamaha Montage 6 sound module. MIDI-studio allows to solve the most complex tasks of arranging and mixing musical material. In 2017, a complete modernization of the photo and video studio was carried out. The studio switched to new formats required by the times: a 4K video camera and processing equipment for this format were purchased.

In 2019, the recording studio underwent a major modernization, a new mixing console, sound cards, a computer, and software were purchased as well as uninterrupted power supply for the sound studio

COOPERATION WITH DOMESTIC POP MUSIC SCENE

The studio has collaborated with the Ensemble projects of Iosif Kobzon, Vasily Lanovoi, Sergei Shakurov, Nikolai Baskov, Oleg Gazmanov, Philip Kirkorov, Ilya Reznik, Renat Ibragimov, Larisa Dolina, Alexander Buinov, Askar Abdrazakov, Diana Gurtskaya, Alexander Oleshko, Vladimir Vinokur, Ekaterina Guseva, Grigory Leps, Alexander Rosenbaum, Stas Mikhailov, Alexei Guskov, Dmitry Dyuzhev, Sergei Makhovikov, Dmitry Kharatyan, Mikhail Nozhkin, and many others

COOPERATION WITH FOREIGN STUDIOS AND ARTISTS

The studio's assets include cooperation with other studios around the world. The famous “Sony Music” offered to make a joint project to record the choir of the Academic Ensemble of Song and Dance of the National Guard of the Russian Federation on the tracks of the legendary singer Joe Dassin. The success exceeded expectations, his son Julien Dassin came to the studio to work together with the ensemble. Several pieces with his participation were recorded.

Another young but popular French singer, Vincent Niclot, was recorded at our studio for a joint concert at the State Kremlin Palace. Later his recordings with the Ensemble were certified three times as “platinum records” - the circulation exceeded 300,000 copies
