On a cloudy autumn day - November 3, 2023 - the Main Military Clinical Hospital of the National Guard in Balashikha was in an unusual state of animation - the Academic Order of Merit in Culture and Art Ensemble of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, led by the Artistic Director and Chief Conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev, performed for the military personnel undergoing treatment at the hospital and for its medical staff.

The songs of military and patriotic themes, which form the basis of each of the Ensemble's concert programs, sounded especially heartfelt today: "Where Does the Motherland Begin?" (V. Basner - M.Matusovsky, soloist-Honored Artist of the Republic of Dagestan Alexey Kholyavko), "We went hiking" (K. Listov-A. Zharov, soloist-People's Artist of Russia Grigory Pinyasov), " Song of the Gunners "(T. Khrennikov - V. Gusev, performed by the choir and orchestra of the Ensemble), "Song of war correspondents" (M. Blanter - K. Simonov, soloist-Honored Artist of the Republic of Khakassia Boris Dyakov), "Stand Up" (Ya. Dronov, soloist-Evgeny Nasonov), "For Donbass" (S. Voitenko, A. Ganichev, soloist-Honored Artist of the Republic of Dagestan Alexey Kholyavko), " Valor and Honor "(music and lyrics by A. Zaitsev, soloist-Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev).

A wonderful gift to the doctors and medical staff of the hospital was the performance by the Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev of the songs "Our Medical Battalion" (I. Luchenok – M. Yasen) and "People in White Robes" (L. Kolmanovsky – L. Oshanin).

The ensemble is well aware of the immense uplifting power of music, especially during times of hardship. Every performance by the Ensemble includes uplifting songs and lively, spirited dances that always bring joy to the audience. The program of today's concert was decorated with such numbers as the legendary "Nadezhda" (A. Pakhmutova — S. Grebennikov, N. Dobronravov, soloist – Honored Artist of the Republic of Khakassia Boris Dyakov), a medley on themes from Leonid Gaidai's comedies performed by the Balalaika quartet (director-Ivan Stepanov), the comic song "I'll take you to the Tundra" (M. Fradkin, M. Plyatskovsky, soloists-Honored Artists of the Republic of Buryatia Ruslan Samozhapov and Norpol Tsydenov), as well as sparkling choreographic compositions-sailor's dance " Yablochko "(staged by Honored Artist of Russia Yu.Gerasimov, edited by M. Press) and "On the Bridge" (staged by the People's Artist of the USSR M.Godenko, V. M. Pressa) - performed by the ballet group of the Ensemble.

The concert ended with the traditional "Farewell to the Slavonic" march (V. Agapkin, A. Fedotov), performed by the Ensemble's choir and orchestra.

The concert was hosted by Roman Khudyakov.

At the end of the concert, the head of the Main Military Clinical Hospital of the National Guard, Honored Doctor of Russia Viktor Guban, expressed his heartfelt gratitude and deep appreciation to the staff of the Academic Ensemble of Song and Dance of the National Guard of the Russian Federation for their active participation in the concert for the personnel and patients of the hospital. In response, the deputy head of the Ensemble, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, Honored Artist of Russia, Colonel Igor Shustikov, thanked the doctors, medical staff, and National Guard soldiers for their warm welcome and wished all those undergoing treatment at the hospital a speedy recovery.

On the eve of Russia Day, the Ensemble performed at the GKD

On the eve of our country's main holiday, Russia Day, a gala concert "My Home is Russia" was held at the State Kremlin Palace on June 11, 2026. The concert became a bright event that brought together outstanding artists on one stage, whose names are known to every lover of Russian pop music. The performance of the Academic Order "For Merits in Culture and Art" by the Song and Dance Ensemble of the National Guard of the Russian Federation under the direction of the artistic director and chief conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Hero of Labor of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev was a great success with the audience.

The Ensemble's Concert in the Cathedral Hall of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior

One of the largest military artistic groups in the country, the Academic Order of Merit in Culture and Art Ensemble of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, led by its artistic director and chief conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Hero of Labor of Russia, Major General Viktor Yeliseyev, places great importance on its charitable concert activities. The Ensemble's artists perform for military personnel and employees of the National Guard, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, participants in the special military operation, and their families, as well as for soldiers undergoing treatment in hospitals and residents of various regions of the country as part of patriotic and social initiatives. A significant event in the cultural life of the capital was the charity concert of the Ensemble, held on June 9, 2026, in the Cathedral Hall of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. This is the fourth charity evening organized by the Moscow City Organization of the All-Russian Trade Union of Education as part of the "Support Our!" campaign.
