The Academic Ensemble of Songs and Dances of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation continues its large tour of the cities of Crimea and the North Caucasus. On the eve of the tour, on June 5, 2021, the Ensemble performed with great success at the concert hall of the Grigory Ponomarenko Krasnodar Philharmonic. Given the Ensemble's popularity among the audience in the capital of Southern Russia, the concert organizers planned two performances in Krasnodar, with the second concert taking place on June 6, 2021, at the Krasnodar State Academic Drama Theater named after Maxim Gorky. In the auditorium of the theater with a capacity of 1,000 seats, and this time there was not a single empty seat – the concert of the Academic Ensemble of Song and Dance of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, led by the Artistic Director and Chief Conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev, is truly beloved by the people.

Traditionally, the concert was opened by the song "You, My Russia" (S. Tulikov, S. Ostrovoy) performed by the ensemble's lead soloist, Honored Artist of Russia Natalia Eliseeva.

With a special feeling, the ensemble's artists performed musical works and choreographic compositions dedicated to the Great Patriotic War: "The March of the Artillerymen" (V. Gusev, T. Khrennikov), "The Song of the Frontline Driver" (B. Mokrousov, B. Laskin), soloist Vitaly Gerasimenko, "The Song of the Soviet Army" (A. Alexandrov, O. Kolychev), "The Song of the Russian Soldier" (K. Akimov, K. Filippova), and dance performances such as "The Cossack Dance," "Home with Victory," and others.

The audience warmly received the performance of folk songs, including the Russian folk songs "Vdol po Piterskoy" and "Skakal Kazak," the Ukrainian folk song "Rozpryagayte, khlyopci, kony," and the Georgian song "Argo" by A. Basilaya and D. Bagashvili.

Taking care of the creative heritage, the Academic Ensemble of Songs and Dances of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation constantly enriches its repertoire with works by contemporary authors. The concert in Krasnodar was another confirmation of this. Many positive emotions were evoked by the audience: "I'll go out in the field with a horse at night" (I. Matvienko, A. Shaganov) performed by the vocal octet (head: Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia Sergey Bazylko) and "You know, I want to live so much" (G. Seleznev) performed by the soloist of the ensemble, Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev.

The concert was concluded with the song "Farewell, Slavonic" (by V. Agapkin and A. Fedotov), performed by the ensemble's choir and orchestra.

The big tour of the Academic Ensemble of Song and Dance of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, led by the Artistic Director and Chief Conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev, continues. The next concert of the ensemble will take place in the Hero City of Novorossiysk.
