On the eve of the International Women's Day, the Ensemble took part in a festive concert held at the Central Club of Rosgvardiya

International Women's Day is approaching - on the eve of this wonderful holiday, on March 6, 2025, a large concert was held at the Central Club of the Russian National Guard with the participation of the Academic Order "For Merit in Culture and Art" Song and Dance Ensemble of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation under the direction of the artistic director and chief conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev.

The director of the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation - Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, Hero of Russia, General of the Army Viktor Zolotov - congratulated women - military personnel and employees of the central office of the Russian National Guard - on the spring holiday. He expressed gratitude to all Russian women who dedicated their lives to serving the Motherland.

«With your strength, intelligence, wisdom and talent, you create beauty throughout the world, give love and care, support, help and inspire men to reach new heights,» said Viktor Zolotov.

The Head of the Department expressed especially warm words of gratitude to our female compatriots who are currently fulfilling their military and service duties in the special military operation zone.

The most distinguished women serving in the structure of the troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation received honorary departmental awards from the hands of the Commander-in-Chief.

A pleasant surprise for everyone gathered today in the hall of the Central Club of the Russian Guard was the solo performance of Viktor Zolotov, who performed two of the most popular songs among Russians (especially among the fair sex): “I Will Buy You a House” (S. Korzhukov & M. Tanich) and “Blue Eternity” (M. Magomayev — G. Kozlovsky).

 “Because it is impossible” is the title of the opening song of I. Matvienko to the verses of M. Andreyev performed by the choral group of the Ensemble.

Deputy Head of the Ensemble, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, Honorary Employee of the Russian Guard Igor Shustikov addressed the ladies present with poetic lines - he very heartfeltly read “Dedication to a Woman” (author - E. Makeeva).

Loud applause from the audience was a reward for the soloist of the Ensemble, People's Artist of Russia Natalia Eliseeva, who performed the song by A. Averkin to the lyrics of Y. Garin "Give a Woman Love".

Other performances by the artists of the Ensemble did not go unnoticed: an instrumental number performed by a quartet of balalaika players under the direction of Ivan Stepanov, the song "Musketeers" (M. Dunaevsky - Y. Ryashentsev), the choreographic composition "STEP", the vocal and choreographic composition "Guards of Music" (author of music and lyrics - A. Melnikov), the song "I Wish You" (author of music and lyrics - I. Sarukhanov).

The concert also featured the Model Orchestra of the Russian Guard and popular performers: People's Artist of Russia Yuri Antonov, the group "Kvatro", the group "Nepara".

The concert was hosted by Honored Artist of Russia Alexander Oleshko.

Participation in a festival dedicated to the composer A. P. Averkin

One of the glorious traditions of Russian musical culture is the annual (since 1997) All-Russian Festival of Folk Art in memory of Alexander Averkin, an Honored Artist of Russia and a composer, held in the Sasovo Municipal District of the Ryazan Region. In 2026, the XXIX All-Russian Festival of Folk Art, dedicated to the composer A.P. Averkin, combines two themes. The main theme of the event is the memory and creative legacy of Alexander Petrovich Averkin, the author of over 800 works that remain popular today. But the fact that this year's festival is being held in the composer's homeland gives it a special significance. Exactly 100 years ago, in the summer of 1926, the village of Sasovo was officially declared a city by the Presidium of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee.

Recognition of merit

Following a long-standing tradition, on the eve of the summer vacation season, the Academic Order of Merit in Culture and Arts Ensemble of Songs and Dances of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation held a general meeting of the collective. At the meeting held on July 1, 2026, the artistic director and chief conductor of the Ensemble, People's Artist of Russia, Major General, and Hero of Labor of Russia, Viktor Petrovich Eliseev, summarized the results of the collective's creative activities for the period from January to June 2026. He proudly noted the consistently high level of the artists’ performing skills and the Ensemble’s rich concert program, which was highly successful with the audience, including during the tour performances across the country and performances at the country’s iconic venues – the State Kremlin Palace, the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, the Great Hall of the Conservatory, the Church Cathedral Hall of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, as well as at the Main Clinical Hospital of the National Guard in Balashikha. He emphasized the great contribution of the Ensemble’s artists to the patriotic education of the younger generation and the support of the military personnel’s fighting spirit.
