On the eve of International Women's Day, March 7, 2024, a ceremonial event dedicated to this wonderful holiday was held at the Central Club of the Russian National Guard Troops.

The Director of the Federal Service of the Russian National Guard Troops - Commander-in-Chief of the Russian National Guard Troops, General of the Army Viktor Zolotov addressed the audience. He cordially congratulated the women who serve and work in the Russian National Guard on the holiday. "International Women's Day occupies a special place in the holiday calendar," the Commander-in-Chief noted. - "More than 60 thousand representatives of the fair sex serve in the National Guard troops. They make an invaluable contribution to the development of the Russian National Guard troops." Viktor Zolotov also emphasized that the servicemen and employees of the Russian National Guard, just like their fathers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers, are defending our Motherland today, confident that their wives, daughters, mothers and sisters are waiting for them at home.

The Director of the Russian National Guard thanked all the women serving in the National Guard troops for their selfless work, wished them well-being, health, love and great personal happiness. In a solemn atmosphere, he presented the women with departmental awards, which became a high assessment of their professional work in strengthening law and order and security in the country.

A pleasant surprise for all those present was the performance by the head of the Russian National Guard Viktor Zolotov of the song by composer Valentin Levashov to the verses of Bulat Okudzhava "Take your overcoat, let's go home" from the film "From dawn to dawn" (1975) directed by Gavriil Egiazarov.

As part of the gala event, a festive concert was held with the participation of the Academic Order "For Merit in Culture and Art" Song and Dance Ensemble of the Troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation under the direction of the artistic director and chief conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev.

The concert opened with the song "We want to tell you honestly" (Sergey Dyachkov - Mikhail Nozhkin) performed by the choir and orchestra of the Ensemble.

Like any concert program of the Ensemble, today's concert delighted the audience with a "scattering" of musical works of various genres: "We wish you happiness" (Stas Namin - Igor Shaferan, soloist - Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev), "Talk to me, mom" (Vladimir Migulya - Viktor Gin, soloist - People's Artist of Russia Natalia Eliseeva), vocal and choreographic composition "Gypsy Fantasy" (composition and arrangement by I. Golubev and I. Kadomtsev, choreography by Artur Bogdanov, soloists - People's Artist of Russia Natalia Eliseeva, Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev, soloist of the Ensemble Evgeny Nasonov).

People's Artists of the Russian Federation Alexander Serov, Nikolay Baskov, Oleg Gazmanov, singer and composer Vladimir Markin also took part in the concert.

The concert ended with the performance of the patriotic song "Forward, Russia!" (music and lyrics by Oleg Gazmanov) performed by the author and the choir of the Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the Troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation.

The Director of the Russian Guard, Army General Viktor Zolotov thanked the organizers and participants of the festive concert for the well-prepared event.

The concert was hosted by Honored Artist of Russia Alexander Oleshko.
