The Academic Ensemble of Song and Dance of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, under the direction of its Artistic Director and Chief Conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev, is engaged in extensive touring activities. In 2022, the artists of this renowned ensemble received applause from audiences in dozens of Russian cities. The Ensemble's final concert tour of the year took place in the cities of Russia's Golden Ring.

The first city of the Golden Ring where our artists performed was Vladimir, an ancient city with a thousand-year history, founded in 990 on the left bank of the Klyazma River by Prince Vladimir Svyatoslavich.

On December 7, 2022, there were no empty seats in the concert hall of the Regional Palace of Culture and Art in Vladimir. Among the guests of the large concert by the Rosgvardia Ensemble were war veterans, home front workers, military personnel of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, representatives of the city administration, and public organizations.

The concert opened with the song “Workers’ Wars” (music by Evgeny Shiryaev, lyrics by Ilya Reznik), performed by the Ensemble’s choir.

The concert featured songs from the war years: "The March of the Artillerymen," "The Song of the War Correspondents," "The Song of the Frontline Driver," and a suite based on soldiers' songs: "The Song of the Russian Soldier" (K. Akimov, K. Filippova), "Vasya-Vasilyok" (A. Novikov, S. Alymov), and "The Song of the Soviet Army" (A. Alexandrov, O. Kolychev).

The Ensemble's ballet group performed the dance composition "Home with Victory" and the sailor's dance "Yabloko."

The Russian folk song "Along the Peter Street" was performed by the Ensemble's soloist, Honored Artist of Russia Viktor Gromov.

The audience was greatly impressed by the dance group's performance of the choreographic composition "Golden Khokhloma" (directed by Petr Kovalev, an Honored Artist of Russia).

The audience really enjoyed the medley from Leonid Utyosov's repertoire performed by Alexey Dmitriev, an Honored Artist of Russia, and soloists Pavel Pushkin and Mikhail Zaraev.

The legendary song "Smuglyanka" (by A. Novikov and Ya. Shvedov) was performed by Grigory Yakovlev, a soloist of the Ensemble and an Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia.

"Valor and Honor" – this wonderful song about the Rosgvardia fighters (by A.V. Zaitsev) was performed by Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev, chorus and orchestra of the Academic Ensemble of Song and Dance of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation.

The musical performances were prepared by the ensemble's chief conductor, Honored Artist of Russia Lyudmila Bogomolova.

The festive concert ended with the song "Farewell, Slavonic" performed by all the participants of the concert.

The audience greeted the famous Rosgvardia Ensemble with prolonged applause.

The concert was hosted by Igor Shustikov, an Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation and an Honored Artist of Russia.
