as part of the DYNAMO–CSKA boxing match,
dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the legendary sports societies

One of the most significant events of 2023 was the 100th anniversary of two legendary sports societies: CSKA and Dynamo. The centuries-old history of these organizations is inextricably linked to the history of our country. Over the past century, Dynamo and CSKA have produced thousands of outstanding athletes who have achieved great success in world championships, European championships, and the Olympic Games. The high achievements of Dynamo and CSKA athletes have played a crucial role in the development of various mass sports, promoting physical culture, and fostering a healthy lifestyle.

As part of the anniversary events, on December 7, 2023, the Dynamo-CSKA boxing match took place at the VTB Arena sports complex in Moscow. Before the start of the sporting event, guests, fans, and members of sports communities were welcomed by popular creative groups and performers.

One of the largest military groups of musical and choreographic art in Russia – the Academic Order of Merit in Culture and Arts Ensemble of Song and Dance of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation under the direction of the Artistic Director and Chief Conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev – a regular participant in all major events in the country's sports life. The program of the gala event within the framework of the boxing match Dynamo – CSKA included two musical numbers from the creative repertoire of the Ensemble: the vocal and choreographic composition “Valor and Honor” (music and lyrics by A. Zaitsev) performed by the Ensemble’s choir and ballet (soloist – Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev) and “Dynamo Anthem” (music and lyrics by N. Arutyunov) performed by the Ensemble’s choir (soloists – Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev and Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia Grigory Yakovlev).

Participation in a festival dedicated to the composer A. P. Averkin

One of the glorious traditions of Russian musical culture is the annual (since 1997) All-Russian Festival of Folk Art in memory of Alexander Averkin, an Honored Artist of Russia and a composer, held in the Sasovo Municipal District of the Ryazan Region. In 2026, the XXIX All-Russian Festival of Folk Art, dedicated to the composer A.P. Averkin, combines two themes. The main theme of the event is the memory and creative legacy of Alexander Petrovich Averkin, the author of over 800 works that remain popular today. But the fact that this year's festival is being held in the composer's homeland gives it a special significance. Exactly 100 years ago, in the summer of 1926, the village of Sasovo was officially declared a city by the Presidium of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee.
