Victory Day is a special holiday for Russians. It is a holiday that is both full of joy and pride for our country, as well as sadness and mourning for those who have passed away. On this day, Russians pay tribute to the veterans of the war and the hard workers who paid a great price for the victory. Every year, on May 9, the country celebrates with festive events and concerts featuring artists and athletes.

The Academic Ensemble of Song and Dance of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, under the direction of the Artistic Director and Chief Conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev, has been a permanent participant in the Victory Day celebrations for many years.

The ensemble actively collaborates with many stars of art and sports. Long-term friendship connects the Ensemble with the President of the All-Russian Federation of rhythmic gymnastics Irina Viner, our artists have repeatedly participated in concerts held at the Gymnastics Palace of Irina Viner-Usmanova. According to Irina Alexandrovna, "the most important event of this year was the concert dedicated to Victory Day, held at the Gymnastics Palace on May 9, when live music and sports sketches of young gymnasts merged in a single impulse of gratitude."

The performances by a group of athletes, including the renowned gymnasts Dina and Arina Averina, Lala Kramarenko, Maria Pobedushkina, Anastasia Guzenkova, and Anna Popova, added a special expressiveness to the beloved songs performed by the Ensemble's artists.

"Victory Day" – this song, written by the composer David Tukhmanov to the lyrics of the participant of the Great Patriotic War, the poet Vladimir Kharitonov, is passionately loved by all Russians. Together with the singer, People's Artist of Russia Vladimir Romanov, Victory Day was sung by all the audience in the hall.

"We Went on Campaigns" (music by Konstantin Listov, lyrics by Alexander Zharov) is one of the best songs about the naval service to the Motherland. In the festive concert, it was brilliantly performed by the soloist of the Ensemble, People's Artist of Russia Grigory Pinyasov.

The audience received the patriotic songs with great warmth: "Do the Russians Want War?" (music by E. Kolmanovsky, lyrics by E. Yevtushenko, soloist-Dmitry Pavlov), " Ballad of a Soldier "(music by V. Solovyov-Sedoy, words by M. Matusovsky, soloist-People's Artist of Russia Vladimir Romanov), " Song of Russian Glory "(music by V. Savelyev, words by A. Fedotov, soloists: Ivan Kozlov, Dmitry Abudeev, Denis Khludnev, Daniil Marakhin), "Let's Bow to the great years" (music by A. Pakhmutova, lyrics by M. Lvov, soloist – Honored Artist of Ingushetia Grigory Yakovlev), as well as songs filled with optimism: "Na Solnechnaya Polyanochka" (music by V. Solovyov-Sedoy, lyrics by A. Fatyanov, soloist-Oleg Zavolzhin) and "Song of War Correspondents" (music by Matvei Blanter, lyrics by Konstantin Simonov, soloist-Dmitry Pavlov), "I was Driving from Berlin" (music by I. Dunaevsky, words by L. Oshanin, soloist-Roman Pyatkov).

Against the backdrop of the young gymnasts' vibrant performances, they sounded like a hymn to the triumph of life, youth, spring, and love.

The audience gave the artists and athletes a well-deserved standing ovation.
