As part of the official dinner organized in the Kremlin for the heads of foreign delegations following the Victory Parade, a performance was given by the Academic “Order of Merit in Culture and Art” Song and Dance Ensemble of the Russian National Guard Troops under the direction of Hero of Labor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General Viktor Petrovich Eliseev. The event, which lasted 35 minutes, was a highly artistic musical performance, including a repertoire covering key works of the Soviet military era.

The program of the performance included such iconic compositions as “Soldier's Suite” and “Katyusha”.

“A Young Sailor is Going on Leave”, performed by the People's– Russian artist Natalia Eliseeva, as well as the ceremonial piece "Many Years". These songs, which are symbols of the Great Patriotic War, were met with particular enthusiasm and admiration among the guests present.

At the initiative of Vladimir Putin, the ensemble additionally performed the song "Nightingales" by composer Solovyov-Sedoy, which caused additional inspiration among the participants of the event.

During the event, Xi Jinping, expressing his gratitude to the artists, asked about the presence of works in Chinese in the ensemble's repertoire. Having received an affirmative answer from Viktor Eliseev, the Chinese delegation was pleasantly surprised and interested in the offer to perform one of these compositions. The result was the song “Without the Chinese Communist Party, There Would Be No China”, which became a vivid manifestation of the cultural interaction and mutual understanding between the two countries.
