The Ensemble toured the cities of Western Siberia
"Songs of the War Years" was the name of the grand tour of the Academic Order "For Merit in Culture and Art" of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the National Guard of the Russian Federation under the direction of the artistic director and chief conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General, Hero of Labor of Russia Viktor Eliseev through the cities of the Ural Federal District, which took place on May 6 - 10, 2025.
The program of the concert tour dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory of our people in the Great Patriotic War included both songs of the war years and songs by Soviet and modern composers - songs about the war, about the heroism of our people, about their love for the Motherland, about friendship, about love, about loyalty to their civic duty. These songs, without exaggeration, constitute the golden fund of the national stage.
The program of the festive concerts also included songs of Soviet composers, beloved by several generations of Russians, folklore works, modern dance compositions and vocal and choreographic numbers.
According to the deputy head of the Ensemble for the artistic part, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Igor Shustikov, “the team tried to make sure that the program corresponded to the great holiday - the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, since there is not a single family in our country that was not scorched by this war”.
The first concert of the tour took place on May 7, 2025 on the stage of the large hall of the Concert and Theater Center “Yugra-Classic” in Khanty-Mansiysk - the capital of Yugra - the main oil and gas region of Russia, one of the largest oil-producing regions in the world.
Among those gathered in the hall were veterans of the Great Patriotic War, home front workers, participants in the Special Military Operation, military personnel and employees of the Russian Guard, and members of their families. The head of the region, Ruslan Kukharuk, was also present at the event.
The concert opened with the performance of the vocal and choreographic composition “Valor and Honor” (music and lyrics by A. Zaitsev, production by Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania Ivan Zhelnov, soloist - Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev).
The songs performed by the choir and orchestra of the Ensemble evoked strong emotions in the audience: "The Sacred War" (A. Alexandrov - V. Lebedev-Kumach), "The Artillerymen's March" (T. Khrennikov - V. Gusev), "The War Correspondents' Song" (M. Blanter - K. The audience very warmly received the song “I'll Go Out to the Field with a Horse” (I. Matvienko - A. Shaganov and the song "Argo" from the musical "The Argonauts" (A. Basilia - D. Bagashvili) performed by the vocal octet and soloist - Honored Artist of Russia Sergey Bazylko, the romance "Not for me" (N. Devitte - A. Alymov, soloist - Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Volzhanin), the composition "Let's get up" by the popular modern author Yaroslav Dronov (soloist - Evgeny Nasonov).
The kind, bright song “Zagualali patsany” (music and lyrics by A. Kasiev) and Oleg Gazmanov's composition “I was born in the Soviet Union”, brilliantly performed by the choir, orchestra and soloists of the Ensemble - Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev and Honored Artist of the Republic of Dagestan Alexey Kholyavko - became yet another confirmation of the unifying power of art for people of different ages, nationalities, religions and occupations.
The dance and vocal-choreographic compositions were a great success with the audience: the step “Evening in Gagra” (arranged by N. Druzhenkov, words by A. Novozhilov, choreography by A. Bogdanov, soloists - Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev, Roman Nepomnyashchikh), the fiery “Gypsy Fantasy” (composition and arrangement by I. Golubev, I. Kadomtsev, choreography by Artur Bogdanov, soloists - Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev, Evgeny Nasonov), “Golden Khokhloma” (directed by Honored Artist of Russia Pyotr Kovalev).
The concert traditionally ended with the performance of the song “Victory Day” (D. Tukhmanov - V. Kharitonov, soloist - Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia Grigory Yakovlev) - the whole hall sang it together with the artists of the Ensemble in a single emotional impulse, standing.
An equally warm welcome awaited the artists of the famous military group in other Siberian cities - centers of gas and oil production, which have a long and glorious history. This is the "capital" of Siberia - Tobolsk, the first Russian city in the Urals, which opened the "Russian way" in the 16th century to Siberia, -- Tyumen, the modern city of oil workers Nefteyugansk.
The concerts were hosted by Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Colonel Igor Shustikov.
The Ensemble's tour, of course, became a wonderful gift to Siberians for the great national holiday - Victory Day.
