The Children's Ensemble took part in the III International Festival "Feat of Arms – Feat of Spirituality"

“A military feat is a spiritual feat” is the name of the International Music Festival, which has been held in hero cities and cities of military glory in Russia and Belarus since 2022.

The purpose of the event is introduce viewers to the military and spiritual exploits of our people through the prism of national musical culture, show the historical continuity of generations, the connection of traditions of service to the Fatherland.

In 2025, the festival is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland.

As part of the festival, which was solemnly opened in February 2025, a concert was held on May 10, 2025, in the Main Cathedral of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (Patriarchal Cathedral in the Name of the Resurrection of Christ) in the Patriot Park in the Odintsovo Urban District of the Moscow Region.

The choir of the Children's Studio of the Academic Order "For Merit in Culture and Art" took part in the concert. Song and Dance Ensemble of the Troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation under the direction of the artistic director and chief conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General, Hero of Labor of Russia Viktor Eliseev.

The Children's Studio of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Russian Guard has more than 200 children and teenagers - mainly, these are children of servicemen of the troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, veterans of law enforcement troops, civilian personnel. The parents of many children are participants in a special military operation. Despite the young age of the participants, the choir of the Children's Ensemble is a laureate of many festivals and competitions of children's patriotic songs and spiritual music, including - multiple laureate of the 1st degree of the International Vocal and Choral Festival of Sacred Music "Crystal Chapel", winner of the Grand Prix of the IV All-Russian Patriotic Festival "Cranes of Victory", the IX Festival of Children's Patriotic Songs of the Troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation.

Both the young artists and the head of the choir of the children's studio of the Ensemble - Honored Worker of Culture of Moscow Valeria Goryunova treated the performance within the framework of the festival "Military Feat - Spiritual Feat" with special responsibility - the group is participating in this festival for the first time, and it is the only children's group among the participants of the event.

The children's choir performed spiritual chants: the Greek-Latin-Slavic "Christ is risen!" (translated by A. Astafyev, arranged by V. Goryunova), the Orthodox hymn “Quiet Light” (arranged by P. Chesnokov) and “How Glorious is Our Lord in Zion” by composer D. Bortnyansky to the verses of M. Kheraskov (the latter piece was widely performed as an unofficial state anthem in the Russian Empire from the end of the 18th century until the approval of the composition “God Save the Tsar!” in the 1830s).

 “The very name contains the idea of ​​the festival. Because a military feat is not only a feat of strength, but it is, first of all, a feat of fortitude. And that warrior who devotes his entire life, his entire destiny to serving the Motherland and serving God, serving his loved ones, he wins a victory, first of all a spiritual one. And the strength of the spirit determines the military strength,” – said the artistic director and chief conductor of the Moscow Synodal Choir, Honored Artist of Russia Alexei Puzakov at the opening of the festival.
