Joseph Kobzon – a man who became a legend during his lifetime. Not only his unique talent, but also his endless dedication to his work, his boundless love for his homeland, and his active civic position earned Joseph Kobzon the love and respect of millions of Russians, people from all generations.

Joseph Davydovich's work is a true treasure and an integral part of Russian culture.

More than 40 years of creative friendship have connected Joseph Kobzon and the collective of the Academic Order of Merit in Culture and Art of the Ensemble of Songs and Dances of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation under the leadership of Major General, People's Artist of Russia, Hero of Labor of Russia Viktor Petrovich Eliseev. Concert programs performed by this creative union were a huge success with the public in all corners of our country and abroad. Concerts by Joseph Kobzon accompanied by artists of the military collective became a great support for the residents of the frontline Donbas.

Today, the singer's fans still remember the concert "I Gave Everything to the Song," which was held on September 11, 1997, to celebrate the maestro's 60th birthday at the Rossiya State Concert Hall. The concert featured performances by the Ensemble's artists for almost 12 hours (!).

Joseph Kobzon – is a star of the domestic stage. As is well known, the light from the real stars does not go out for a very long time even after the star itself ceases to exist. Joseph Davydovich passed away a few years ago, but his songs remain with us…

A bright event in Moscow's cultural life was the "Kobzon Star" gala concert of the I.D. Kobzon Festival-Competition of Patriotic Songs, held on September 11, 2025. The Svetlanov Hall of the Moscow International House of Music was filled with true fans of the work of the People's Artist of the USSR, Iosif Kobzon.

The gala concert program includes the maestro's immortal songs, which have become part of the national pop music canon.

Performed by the Ensemble's artists today were the works: "What is your name, tell me?" (V. Basner – M. Matusovsky, soloist – Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia Grigory Yakovlev), "Soldiers Suite" (composition by A. Kukharenko, soloists – Honored Artist of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic Alexander Kokhov, Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia Igor Safonov, Honored Artists of the Republic of North Ossetia – Alania Mikhail Zaraev and Evgeny Yakhin, soloists of the Ensemble: Konstantin KuzminDenis KhludnevAleksey Bosykh,Mikhail Mamonov,Viktor Lezhnin). Accompanied by the Ensemble's choir, new songs were performed: "Otchizna" (V. Agafonnikov - D. Kostyurin, soloists – Igor Demarin and the Grand Prix winner of the Trans-Baikal Territory, Elena Chirkova), "Reborn, Fatherland!" (I. Demarin - N. Zinoviev, soloist – Igor Demarin).

The concert was also attended by People's Artists of Russia: Alexander Rosenbaum and Larisa Dolina, Honored Artists of Russia: Olga Kormukhina, Varvara Marina Devyatova, popular performers: Irina Ortman, Mariam Merabova, Ruslan Alekhno, Pavel Kravchuk, the Turetsky Choir, the Bozhgua Family, the Republic Band, Alla Dukhova's Ballet "TODES", and others.

The concert was hosted by Anna Shatilova and Alexander Oleshko.

"Kobzon's Star" is not only a tribute to the great artist, but also a true celebration for all fans of song art.

Choir group of the Children's Ensemble at the "Voices of Victory. Leningrad" competition

The choir group of the studio (children's ensemble) took part in the International competition "Voices of Victory. Leningrad", which was held from 8 to 11 May in St. Petersburg. In this competition, teams and solo performers from more than 10 cities competed. The choir group performed in the mixed age category and sang the songs "Childhood" by Y. Chichkov and "I Want There to Be No War" by A. Petryasheva. The jury highly appreciated the performance level of the children. As a result of the competition, the studio's choir group (children's ensemble) won the Grand Prix of the competition, and its choirmasters, Tatiana Pankova, Alexander Mironov, and Daniil Krylov, received special diplomas for their achievements in teaching!

Mixed Choir of the Children's Ensemble at the X Festival of Veteran Choirs

On May 10, 2026, the mixed choir of the studio (children's ensemble) performed at the opening gala concert of the 10th Moscow Open Festival of Veteran Choirs, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Battle of Moscow, in the Great Hall of the Meridian Central Concert Hall. The choir performed the following works: "The Song of the Soviet Army" by A. Alexandrov, lyrics by O. Kolychev, "Only You Could, My Russia" by S. Tulikov, lyrics by G. Khodosov, the Patriotic Song "Moscow" by M. Glinka, and "Be Happy, People!" by A. Pakhmutova, lyrics by N. Dobronravov. The event opened with a performance by the combined choirs of all the participating choirs, which included the songs "My Moscow" by I. Dunaevsky, lyrics by M. Lisyansky, "The Song of the Defenders of Moscow" by B. Mokrousov, lyrics by A. Surkov, and "My Dear Muscovites" by I. Dunaevsky, lyrics by V. Massa and M. Chevinsky.
