"Happy Russia Day, dear compatriots!" On the day of the national holiday, the Ensemble performed a concert in the capital of Chuvashia

Russia Day is one of the main state holidays of our country. The date when we celebrate this holiday every year – June 12-is associated with a significant historical event – on June 12, 1990, the Congress of People's Deputies of the RSFSR adopted the Declaration on State Sovereignty. Thus, the foundations of a new independent state – the Russian Federation-were laid.

Celebrating the Day of Russia, we pay tribute to the events that became the "starting point" of the formation of the modern state system. This holiday contributes to the unification of the multinational people of our country, strengthening friendship and solidarity between representatives of different nationalities and faiths, different cultural traditions.

Russia Day is a day of pride for our Motherland, a day of national unity and striving for a common bright future.

On this festive day – June 12, 2024 – the Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation under the direction of artistic director and Chief Conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev performed a concert in Cheboksary, the capital of the Chuvash Republic.

The main square of Cheboksary was crowded today. Music streaming from the speakers and live performances of creative groups contributed to the festive mood.

Special solemnity of the event was given by the emotional speech of the Head of the Chuvash Republic Oleg Nikolaev, who congratulated the residents and guests of Cheboksary on the Day of Russia and wished them great success in their work for the benefit of our great Motherland and great personal happiness.

The theme of patriotism, the theme of love for our multiethnic Homeland, the theme of friendship and solidarity of all Russians was the "red thread" that ran through the entire concert program of the Rosgvardiya Song and Dance Ensemble.

The concert featured wartime songs, songs by Soviet composers, and military-themed vocal and choreographic compositions.

Accompanied by the choir and orchestra of the Ensemble, the popular Russian singer, composer, musician, Honored Artist of the Republic of Dagestan Alexander Kogan performed the songs: "You are my hope, you are my joy" (A. Pakhmutova – N. Dobronravov), "Pre-war Waltz" (P. Aedonitsky-F.Laube), "The Fourth Day of the War" (V. Tretyakov), "Happy Birthday, Victory!" (L. Zakhlevny-M. Yasen), "Song of a front-line driver" (B. Mokrousov – B. Laskin)," Dark Night "(N. Bogoslovsky – V. Agatov)," Father's Letter" (E. Martynov – A. Dementyev, D. Usmanov), "Random Waltz" (M. Fradkin – E. Dolmatovsky), "Song of War Correspondents" (M. Blanter-K. Simonov), "History Lessons" (V. Shainsky-M. Ryabinin), " For that guy "(M. Fradkin – R. Rozhdestvensky), "Cranes" (Ya. Frenkel – R. Gamzatov), "Our medical battalion" (I. Luchenok-M. Yasen), "Take your Overcoat" (V. Levashov-B. Okudzhava), "Old Cinema" (I. Luchenok – M. Yasen), "Hot Snow" (A. Pakhmutova – M. Lviv), "May Waltz" "(I. Luchenok – M. Yasen), "Song of the Soldier" ("You Survived, soldier") (V. Migulya – M. Agashina) and "Victory Day" (D. Tukhmanov – V. Kharitonov).

The performance of each song ended with a round of applause from the audience.

A highlight of the concert was the performance of the People's Artist of Russia Natalia Eliseeva, who masterfully performed the favorite songs of Russians: "What were you like" (I. Dunaevsky – M. Volpin and M. Isakovsky) from the movie "Kuban Cossacks" (1949) and "Let's Smoke" (M. Tabachnikov – I. Frenkel).

The gala concert of the Rosgvardiya Academic Song and Dance Ensemble conducted by the Artistic director and chief conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev, held in Cheboksary on Russia Day, will undoubtedly remain in the memory of the audience as one of the most striking events in the cultural life of Chuvashia.
