In the Russian state, where the highest value is the human being, one of the priorities is to protect the rights and freedoms of citizens. For 300 years, the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation has been carrying out the great mission of upholding the rule of law in our country. This January, the Russian Prosecutor's Office is celebrating a significant anniversary: On January 12, 1722, Emperor Peter I signed a Personal Decree to the Governing Senate establishing the main supervisory body of Russia.
Over the past 300 years, the Russian state has undergone many reforms, but the unique position of the prosecutor's office in the government structure remains unchanged.
