The "Christmas Tree Was Born in the Forest" flash mob at the Victory Christmas Tree celebration

On December 14, 2019, the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 hosted the grand opening of the New Year's historical quest for children and adults "Victory Tree. New Mission". "Victory Tree" is not just an ordinary New Year's performance, but an interactive and captivating team quest game, where participants will have to complete a secret mission and solve military mysteries to reach the "Victory Tree" of 1945.

At the holiday, the results of the All-Russian children's drawing competition "Draw a Victory Tree" were announced. Young artists and children's musical groups congratulated the winners of the drawing competition.

But the most amazing gift for the participants and guests of the New Year's holiday "Victory Tree" was the flash mob "A Christmas Tree Was Born in the Forest" performed by the choir of the Academic Ensemble of Songs and Dances of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation. Despite the fact that no one expected such an unexpected surprise, all the participants of the holiday, about 2,000 people, both adults and children, immediately picked up this timeless and beloved New Year's song and sang it together with the artists of the renowned musical group.

The last words of the song were drowned out by the enthusiastic applause of the festival participants, who rewarded the artists of the Academic Ensemble of Songs and Dances of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation.

The New Year's celebration for children and adults "Victory Tree. New Mission" at the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War on Poklonnaya Hill will last until January 12, 2020.
