with a concert in Naberezhnye Chelny

On the map of Russia, it is difficult to find a region where the artists of the Academic Ensemble of Song and Dance of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, led by the artistic director and chief conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev, would not perform concerts. The Eliseev Ensemble is well-known and beloved in Tatarstan, and on the occasion of the Ensemble's 45th anniversary, the team received a letter of gratitude from the President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, for their long-standing artistic achievements, significant contributions to the development of music and military-patriotic education.

The Rosgvardia Song and Dance Ensemble's tour of the cities of the Republic of Tatarstan, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the ensemble, began in Naberezhnye Chelny, a major industrial center on the Kama River, known worldwide for its legendary KAMAZ trucks.

The working-class city of Naberezhnye Chelny is known not only as one of the centers of the domestic automotive industry, but also as a major cultural center. The Naberezhnye Chelny Organ Hall is the only hall of its kind not only in the Prikamye region, but also in all of Russia. The 800-seat hall does not have any microphones, as its unique acoustics ensure optimal sound quality without the need for amplification equipment.

On the evening of June 15, 2023, there were no empty seats in the Organ Hall of Naberezhnye Chelny. Before the concert began, the Head of the Administration of the Avtozavodsky District of the Executive Committee of the Municipal Formation of Naberezhnye Chelny, Viner Kharisov, addressed the Ensemble's artists with a welcoming speech.

The concert opened with the patriotic song "You, My Russia" (music by S. Tulikov, lyrics by S. Ostrovoy) performed by the People's Artist of Russia Natalia Eliseeva.

Military and patriotic works formed the basis of the concert program. "March of the Gunners "(T. Khrennikov, V. Gusev), "Song of War correspondents" (M. Blanter, K. Along with the vocal numbers, the performances of the Ensemble's ballet group are always a hit with the audience. The concert featured choreographic compositions "Home with Victory" and "Golden Khokhloma" (directed by Honored Artist of Russia Pyotr Kovalev), as well as the sailor's dance "Yabloko."

The Balalaika Quartet (leader – Ivan Stepanov) brilliantly performed the musical composition “Ural Dances”.

The song "I will go out with a horse in the field at night" (I. Matvienko, A. Shaganov) was performed by the vocal octet of the Ensemble (the leader is the Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia Sergey Bazylko).

The concert programs of the Rosgvardia Song and Dance Ensemble feature a variety of genres and musical styles. In today's anniversary concert, along with songs from the war years, songs by Soviet composers, such works as the lyrical song "Give me a handkerchief" (G. One of the Ensemble's unique features is that wherever our artists perform, they always sing a song in the language of the host nation. Today's concert was no exception -– in it the Tatar folk song "Idel" ("Ak idel katy aga") (soloist – Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev) and the unofficial anthem of the Tatar people "I love you, Tatarstan" ("Min yaratam sine Tatarstan") (A. Andreev, R. Rekypov; soloist -– Ruslan Abdrafikov) were performed in the Tatar language. The audience's thunderous applause was a well-deserved reward for the artists.

Participation in a festival dedicated to the composer A. P. Averkin

One of the glorious traditions of Russian musical culture is the annual (since 1997) All-Russian Festival of Folk Art in memory of Alexander Averkin, an Honored Artist of Russia and a composer, held in the Sasovo Municipal District of the Ryazan Region. In 2026, the XXIX All-Russian Festival of Folk Art, dedicated to the composer A.P. Averkin, combines two themes. The main theme of the event is the memory and creative legacy of Alexander Petrovich Averkin, the author of over 800 works that remain popular today. But the fact that this year's festival is being held in the composer's homeland gives it a special significance. Exactly 100 years ago, in the summer of 1926, the village of Sasovo was officially declared a city by the Presidium of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee.
