Oleg Gazmanov ... It is hard to imagine modern pop music without the music that this popular composer, poet, and performer has given us.

Oleg Gazmanov is a multiple participant in the Song of the Year festivals and a recipient of the Golden Gramophone and Chanson of the Year awards.

Oleg Gazmanov gained all-Union fame in late 1987, when he recorded the song "Lucy" (music and lyrics by O. Gazmanov) with his son Rodion, which soon became very popular, displacing Western dance hits from dance floors and discos.

Oleg Gazmanov's songs have long since become classics of the pop genre. They are performed by the People's Artists of Russia Lev Leshchenko, Philip Kirkorov, Dmitry Malikov, Valery Leontiev, Nikolai Baskov, Irina Allegrova, Larisa Dolina, Nadezhda Babkina, the Honored Artists of Russia Denis Maydanov, Dima Bilan, Grigory Leps, Valery Syutkin, Natasha Koroleva, and many other renowned masters of Russian pop music.

Oleg Gazmanov's songs were part of the repertoire of the outstanding Soviet and Russian pop singer and statesman, People's Artist of the USSR, Iosif Kobzon, with whom Oleg shared a strong and long-lasting friendship.

The song "Moscow", written by Oleg Gazmanov in 1997 for the 850th anniversary of the city, became the unofficial anthem of the Russian capital.

Thanks to their catchy melodies, vivid poetic imagery, and excellent artistic performance, many of Oleg Gazmanov's songs, such as "Squadron," "Officers," "Yesaul," "Mama," "Made in the USSR," "My Temple," "The Only One," "My Clear Days," "The Sailor," and "Fresh Wind," have become beloved by the public and have been sung by several generations of Russians.

On November 16, 2021, the Crocus City Hall hosted a gala concert titled "Oleg Gazmanov: 7:0 in My Favor," dedicated to the musician's 70th birthday.

The celebrant remained on stage throughout the evening, performing his beautiful works and filling the hearts of the audience with energy.

The concert was attended by the Todes ballet group and the popular pop singer Anni Lorak, who performed the song "I'll Stay with You."

The concert culminated in the performance of the Academic Ensemble of Song and Dance of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, led by the artistic director and chief conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev. The creative friendship between the popular composer and performer and the renowned military ensemble has been going on for several decades. Oleg Gazmanov's songs are always featured in every concert by the Ensemble.

Accompanied by the ensemble's choir, Oleg Gazmanov performed his most famous patriotic songs: "Immortal Regiment," "Moscow," and "Forward, Russia."

The audience warmly received all the performances, and the artists did not leave the stage for a long time.

The concert was hosted by the celebrant himself.
