The Ensemble performed at the closing ceremony of the Rosgvardiya boxing championship "Victory Cup"

«Victory Cup» was the name of the Boxing Championship of the Russian Federation National Guard Troops, which was held from May 15 to 18, 2024, in the city of Sochi. More than 70 top fighters from the Central, Ural, Siberian, Southern, and North Caucasian Districts of the Russian Federation National Guard Troops competed for medals in eight weight categories.

The final "chorus" of the sports festival was the championship closing ceremony, which took place on May 18, 2024, at the Federal Combat Sports Center "Yug Sport".

The winners and prize-winners of the competition were congratulated by the Director of the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation – Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Viktor Zolotov. He reminded the participants of the event that the championship was dedicated to the victory of our country over Nazi Germany in the Great Patriotic War, and emphasized the invaluable role of sports in uniting the Russian people.

Among the event's distinguished guests were the Deputy Director of the National Guard, Colonel-General Alexey Vorobyov and Colonel-General Vladislav Ershov, members of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, government and public figures, and world-renowned sports stars.

As part of the championship's closing ceremony, an agreement on cooperation was signed between the Russian Boxing Federation and the Russian National Guard.

A wonderful musical gift to all the participants of the Victory Cup was the performance of the Academic Order of Merit in Culture and the Arts of the Ensemble of Song and Dance of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation under the direction of the Artistic Director and Chief Conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev at the closing ceremony of the championship.

The audience applauded the artists of the famous collective who performed the vocal and choreographic composition " Valor and Honor "(music and lyrics by A. Zaitsev, production by Ivan Zhelnov, Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia – Alania, soloist-Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev), the old Russian march "Song of Russian Glory" (V. Savelyev – A. Fedotov; soloists - Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia – Alania Evgeny Yakhin, Dmitry Dolgiy, Daniil Marakhin, Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia Grigory Yakovlev), medley on the themes of soldiers 'songs" Soldier's Suite "(composition by A. Kukharenko, soloists-Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania Evgeny Yakhin, Honored Artist of the Kabardino-Balkar Republic Alexander Kochov, Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia Igor Safonov, artists of the Ensemble: Mikhail Mamonov, Konstantin Kuzmin, Alexey Bosykh and Viktor Lezhnin), the legendary "Smuglyanka" (A. Novikov – Ya. Shvedov, soloist-Honored Artist of the Republic of IngushetiaGrigory Yakovlev) and the comic song "I'll take you to the tundra" (M. Fradkin – M. Plyatskovsky, soloists-Honored Artists of the Republic of Buryatia Ruslan Samozhapov and Norpol Tsydenov).

The performance ended with the March "Farewell to the Slav" (V. Agapkin - A. Fedotov) performed by the choir and orchestra of the Ensemble.
