On the eve of October 23 – the Day of the defeat of the German fascist troops in the Arctic – solemn events and festive concerts are held throughout the Murmansk region. One of the central events of these events in 2023, on the 79th anniversary of the liberation of the Arctic from the Nazi invaders, was the tour of the ensemble led by Victor Eliseev.
The first concert of the renowned ensemble as part of this tour was held on October 18, 2023, in Murmansk, followed by successful performances in Severomorsk and Pechenga. On October 20, the final concert of the ensemble took place at the Murmansk Regional Philharmonic.
The concert was held in a very solemn atmosphere. The event was attended by veterans of the Great Patriotic War, submarine sailors, and home front workers – all those who contributed to the victory during the harsh years of war. The audience at the Philharmonic Hall also included many members of the Russian National Guard and their families. Before the concert began, the Chairman of the Murmansk Regional Duma, Sergey Dubovoy, and the Governor of the Murmansk Region, Andrey Chibis, delivered welcoming speeches. In his speech, Andrey Chibis emphasized the importance of defeating the German fascist forces in the Arctic for the final victory of our country in the Great Patriotic War, and paid tribute to the military and labor feats of the people of Murmansk during the years of severe trials.
The concert program is based on patriotic works and songs of the war years: "Workers' Wars " and " Song of the Gunners "(performed by the choir and orchestra of the Ensemble), " Farewell, Rocky Mountains "(soloist – Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia Igor Safonov), "Smuglyanka" (soloist-Mikhail Mamonov), "For Donbass" (soloist-Honored Artist of the Republic of Dagestan Alexey Kholyavko), vocal and choreographic composition "Valor and Honor" (soloist-Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev), medley on themes of soldiers ' songs (soloists-Honored Artist of the Kabardino-Balkar Republic Alexander Kochov, Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia Igor Safonov, honored Artists of the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania Mikhail Zaraev and Evgeny Yakhin, Konstantin Kuzmin, Denis Khludnev, Alexey Bosykh, Mikhail Mamonov, Viktor Lezhnin), " I will go out at night in the field with a horse "(performed by the vocal octet of the Ensemble).
According to tradition, serious patriotic works in the Ensemble's repertoire are organically combined with lighter, humorous numbers. The concert featured the Russian folk song "Korobeyniki" (soloist – Evgeny Nasonov), the popular humorous song "I'll Take You to the Tundra" (soloists – Honored Workers of Culture of the Republic of Buryatia Ruslan Samozhapov and Norpol Tsydenov), popпури on the themes of songs from the repertoire of Leonid Utyosov (soloists – Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev, Honored Artists of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania Pavel Pushshkin and Mikhail Zaraev, Artist of the Ensemble Mikhail Mamonov).
The audience warmly received the performance of the ballet troupe of the Ensemble of choreographic compositions: "Home with Victory", "Golden Khokhloma", "Gypsy Fantasy" (soloists: Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev, Evgeny Nasonov).
The concert traditionally ended with the "Farewell to the Slav" march by V. Agapkin and V. Lazarev, performed by the Ensemble's choir and orchestra.
The Commander of the Red Banner Order of Ushakov Northern Fleet, Hero of Russia Admiral Alexander Moiseev, and Colonel Dmitry Salikhov, Head of the Main Directorate of the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation in the Murmansk Region, expressed their gratitude to the artists of the renowned band.
"The concert by the Academic Ensemble of Songs and Dances of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation is a remarkable event for the residents of our city. We are well acquainted with the work of the Rosgvardia Ensemble, which lifts our spirits and helps us serve our homeland," said Colonel Dmitry Salikhov in his speech.
