The ensemble took part in the jubilee concert dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of People's Artist of the USSR Vasily Lanov

Vasily Lanovoy... For millions of Russians, for everyone who was born and raised in the Soviet Union, People's Artist of the USSRVasily Lanovoy was and remains not just a beloved artist who played more than 100 roles in theater and cinema, but above all a true patriot, a man with a clearly expressed civic position, with firm principles, living in accordance with his code of honor, fiercely defending his beliefs.

Vasily Lanovoy was one of the leaders of the Immortal Regiment movement. He expressed his admiration for those who defended our Motherland during the years of severe military trials when reading the voice-over text in the film epic "The Great Patriotic War". Poems and songs about the war performed by Vasily Lanovoy acquired a particularly heartfelt sound. And the film "Officers", where Vasily Lanovoy played one of the main roles, forever entered the "Golden Fund" of Soviet cinema. Largely thanks to Vasily Lanovoy, the honor, courage and nobility of the Russian officer became life guidelines for several generations of defenders of our Motherland.

The anniversary concert dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of People's Artist of the USSR, Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation Vasily Lanovoy took place on February 21, 2024 at the State Kremlin Palace.

The team of the Academic Order "For Merit in Culture and Art" song and dance ensemble of the troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation under the direction of artistic director and chief conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev had a long-standing creative friendship with Vasily Lanovoy. With special feeling, the Ensemble Artists accepted the invitation to participate in the anniversary concert dedicated to the 90th anniversary of his birth.

At the beginning of the concert, the legendary song "From the Heroes of Bygone Times" (R. Khozak - E. Agranovich) was performed by the choir of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Russian Guard and the soloist - Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Alexander Marshal. The audience stood and listened to this song, not holding back their emotions and singing along with the artists. And on the huge screen Vasily Lanovoy sang with them...

Co-chairman of the all-Russian public movement "Immortal Regiment", Colonel General Sergey Makarov read out a greeting from the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

The Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the Troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation performed the following songs, beloved by Russians: "What Were You Like" (I. Dunaevsky - M. Isakovsky) from the film "Kuban Cossacks" (soloist - People's Artist of Russia Natalia Eliseeva), "Comrade Song" (I.Shamo – R.Rozhdestvensky, soloist – Honored Artist of Russia Sergey Volchkov), “Oh, wide steppe” (folk music and lyrics, soloist – Evgeny Kungurov), “I love you, Russia” (D.Tukhmanov – M.Nozhkin, soloist – Mikhail Gavrilov), “Officers” (music and lyrics by O.Gazmanov, soloist – People’s Artist of Russia Oleg Gazmanov).

The concert was also attended by People’s Artists of the RSFSR Irina Kupchenko and Sergey Shakurov, People’s Artists of Russia: Larisa Dolina, Irina Allegrova, Alexander Mikhailov, Alexander Malinin, Dmitry Kharatyan, Honored Artists of Russia: Askar Abdrazakov, Maria Voronova, Ekaterina Guseva, Dmitry Dyuzhev, Zara, Alexander Oleshko, Sergey Trofimov, Nina Shatskaya, as well as Taisiya Povaliy, Kirill Kuznetsov, Gleb Matveychuk, Elizaveta Dolzhenkova, Valentina Biryukova, Alexandra Vorobyova, Sergey Makhovikov, Elena Maksimova, Anastasia Makeeva, Alexander Panayotov, Vasily Pasechnik, State Academic Kuban Cossack Choir  and other performers.

The concert ended with the song "Immortal Regiment" performed by the choir of the Academic Order "For Merit in Culture and Art" of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation and People's Artist of Russia Oleg Gazmanov with the participation of the Young Army cadets of the combined detachment of the Moscow Young Army.

The applause of the grateful spectators did not stop for a long time in the hall.

The hosts of the concert were Honored Artist of Russia Alexander Oleshko and Anastasia Makeeva.

On the eve of Russia Day, the Ensemble performed at the GKD

The Ensemble's Concert in the Cathedral Hall of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior

One of the largest military artistic groups in the country, the Academic Order of Merit in Culture and Art Ensemble of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, led by its artistic director and chief conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Hero of Labor of Russia, Major General Viktor Yeliseyev, places great importance on its charitable concert activities. The Ensemble's artists perform for military personnel and employees of the National Guard, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, participants in the special military operation, and their families, as well as for soldiers undergoing treatment in hospitals and residents of various regions of the country as part of patriotic and social initiatives. A significant event in the cultural life of the capital was the charity concert of the Ensemble, held on June 9, 2026, in the Cathedral Hall of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. This is the fourth charity evening organized by the Moscow City Organization of the All-Russian Trade Union of Education as part of the "Support Our!" campaign.
