"Happy National Guard Troops Day!" - at the Main Military Clinical Hospital of the VNG RF the festive concert of the Ensemble took place

Every year (since 2017) on March 27, Russia celebrates the Day of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation. The Russian National Guard is a reliable guarantor of law and order and peace in the country.

On the eve of the Day of the Russian National Guard - March 21, 2024 - the Academic Order "For Merit in Culture and Art" Song and Dance Ensemble of the Troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation under the direction of the artistic director and chief conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev performed a concert at the Main Military Clinical Hospital of the Russian National Guard in Balashikha.

There were no empty seats in the hospital's assembly hall. The concert was attended by military personnel undergoing rehabilitation treatment in the hospital and the staff of the medical institution.

The concert featured songs from the war years and songs by Soviet composers, beloved by several generations of Russians, as well as works by modern authors.

"We Serve the Motherland" was the title of the opening song by N. Smirnov and S. Kardayev, performed by the choir and soloists of the Ensemble - Honored Artist of the Republic of Dagestan Alexei Kholyavko and Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania Evgeniy Yakhin.

As always, the basis of the concert program was made up of uplifting, patriotic works. The audience listened with special feeling to such familiar songs, which today acquire a special sound, as "Song of the front-line driver" (B. Mokrousov - B. Laskin; soloist - Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania Evgeny Yakhin), "Smuglyanka" (A. Novikov - Ya. Shvedov; soloist - Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia Grigory Yakovlev), "Nightingales" (V. Solovyov-Sedoy, A. Fatyanov; soloist - Honored Artist of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic Alexander Kokhov), "So go ahead, military doctor!" (soloist - Honored Artist of the Republic of Dagestan Alexey Kholyavko), "Let's Get Up" (Y. Dronov; soloist - Konstantin Kuzmin).

Each concert of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Russian Guard is a scattering of vocal and choreographic compositions of various genres. The servicemen and staff of the Main Military Clinical Hospital of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation today applauded the virtuoso performance of the balalaika quartet under the direction of Ivan Stepanov of the Russian folk song "Kamarinskaya" and the instrumental composition "Old Banjo" (A. Gurevich - A. Isaev), sparkling dance numbers: "Naraspashku" and "Gypsy Dance", songs: "Just Give" (A. Aleksin; soloist - Konstantin Kuzmin), "The Boys Went on a Spree" (S. Pavliashvili - A. Shakhunts; soloists - Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev and Honored Artist of the Republic of Dagestan Alexey Kholyavko), "Give Me Back the Music" (A. Babadzhanyan -  A. Voznesensky; soloist – Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia Grigory Yakovlev), "Zhivet moya otrada" (S. Klychkov – M. Shishkin; soloist – Honored Artist of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic Alexander Kokhov).

The concert ended with Oleg Gazmanov's original song "Forward, Russia!" (soloist – Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev), which is as consonant with the patriotic sentiments of the entire Russian people and the Russian Guard today as possible.

The concert was organized by the Deputy Head of the Ensemble for Artistic Affairs, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, Honored Artist of Russia, Colonel Igor Shustikov. The concert was hosted by Roman Khudyakov.
