On the eve of Defender of the Fatherland Day, the Ensemble took part in festive celebrations

One of the main holidays of our country is approaching - Defender of the Fatherland Day. This year it is celebrated especially solemnly - by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin dated January 16, 2025 No. 28, 2025 was declared the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland. This is a sign of deep respect for those who at different times stood in defense of the Motherland from foreign invaders - for the veterans of the Great Patriotic War, for our soldiers who worthily fulfilled their international and military duty in Afghanistan and in other parts of the world, for modern heroes - participants in the special military operation (SVO).

On the eve of the national holiday, on February 21, 2025, a ceremonial event dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day was held in the club of the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation. The event was attended by deputy directors of the Russian National Guard, heads of structural divisions of the central office of the department, veterans of law enforcement troops, military personnel and employees of the National Guard troops.

The festive event began with the introduction of the State Flag of the Russian Federation, the banner of the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, the personal standard of the Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation.

The culmination of the celebration was the speech of the director - Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, Hero of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Viktor Zolotov.

"Defender of the Fatherland Day is an important state holiday of special significance for all Russians," the head of the Russian National Guard noted. “such values ​​as patriotism, high civic responsibility, loyalty to traditions, selfless devotion to one's homeland, readiness to stand up for the defense of its borders, are the main unifying principle for all our people”.

Viktor Zolotov congratulated the veterans and personnel of the Russian Guard on the upcoming holiday, thanked the Russian Guard for their impeccable service and loyalty to the oath, and wished all defenders of the Fatherland military success and good health.

The servicemen and employees of the department who especially distinguished themselves in the performance of their military and official duty, including – During the SVO, the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian National Guard presented high state awards.

A musical gift to all participants of the event was a festive concert with the participation of the Academic Order “For Merit in Culture and Art” Song and Dance Ensemble of the Troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation under the direction of the artistic director and chief conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev, the exemplary orchestra of the Troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, the art group “Soprano Turetsky”, People's Artist of Russia Nadezhda Babkina and other famous performers.

Lyrical songs “Snow-white cherry blossomed under the window” (M. Chumakov, V. Burygin) and “A young sailor is going on leave” (A. Averkin, V. Bokov), which have not lost their popularity for more than six decades, – entered the history of Russian musical culture as a symbol of the connection between generations. Soulfully performed by the soloist of the Ensemble – People's Artist of Russia Natalia Eliseeva accompanied by the choir of the Ensemble, they left no one indifferent.

The stormy, prolonged applause of the audience became a well-deserved reward for the artists.
