Event in honor of the 79th anniversary of the Victory in the RF IC

Victory Day is the main holiday in the history of our country. It marks the triumph of the Soviet people, who dealt a crushing blow to Nazism. Paying tribute to the generation of victors who fought on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War, we say words of gratitude with special feeling today to the participants of the Special Military Operation - our contemporaries who are resisting the revival of fascism.

Patriotism has always been and remains the main link between generations.

As part of the celebration of Victory Day, solemn events and festive concerts are held throughout the country.

The Academic Order "For Merit in Culture and Art" Song and Dance Ensemble of the Troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation under the direction of the artistic director and chief conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev On April 26, 2024, took part in a gala event dedicated to the 79th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War 1941 — 1945, which took place in the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

The event, organized by the Cultural Center of the Investigative Committee of Russia, was attended by the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin, his deputies, heads and employees of the departments of the central office of the department, students and teaching staff of educational institutions of the Investigative Committee of Russia, veterans of the investigation, members of the Public Council, members of the Council of Heroes of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, family members of deceased employees.

Before the start of the ceremonial part, all those present laid flowers at the Memorial Board of deceased employees of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, honoring their memory with a minute of silence.

Opening the event, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin emphasized that "we will forever remain in an unpaid debt to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War." He noted that "Today, when our country is once again confronting Nazism, the sacred memory of the victorious soldiers unites us, inspires us to new achievements and fills us with determination to fight shoulder to shoulder for the freedom and independence of our Motherland."

The head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation noted the active work of the Headquarters in coordinating search and archival work related to collecting facts about the crimes of the Nazis and their accomplices during the Great Patriotic War, and emphasized the importance of this work to stop the senseless and immoral controversy regarding the decisive role of the Soviet Union in the victory over Nazism."

Alexander Bastrykin thanked his subordinates for successfully completing the tasks set before the Investigative Committee and presented state and departmental awards to particularly distinguished employees.

The event continued with a festive concert featuring the soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre, People's Artist of Russia Vasily Gerello, creative teams of the Investigative Committee of Russia, the Central House of the Russian Army named after M.V. Frunze of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Vocal and Choreographic Ensemble "Cadet Brotherhood" of the Prince Alexander Nevsky Military University of the Ministry of Defense and the Academic Order "For Merit in Culture and Art" Song and Dance Ensemble of the Troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation under the direction of the artistic director and chief conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev.

The Ensemble’s artists performed the following works beloved by several generations of Russians: “Song of the Artillerymen” (T. Khrennikov – V. Gusev), “Smuglyanka” (A. Novikov – Ya. Shvedov; soloist – Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia Grigory Yakovlev), a medley of soldier’s songs (composition by A. Kukharenko; soloists – Honored Artist of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic Alexander Kokhov, Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia Igor Safonov, Honored Artists of the Republic of North Ossetia – Alania Mikhail Zarayev and Evgeny Yakhin, soloists of the Ensemble: Konstantin Kuzmin, Denis Khlyudnev, Alexey Bosykh, Mikhail Mamonov and Viktor Lezhnin), Cossack song “Unharness, lads of the horses” (soloist - Honored Artist of the Republic of Dagestan Kirill Nikitin), comic composition “I’ll take you to the tundra” (M. Fradkin - M. Plyatskovsky, soloists - Honored Artists of the Republic of Buryatia Ruslan Samozhapov and Norpol Tsydenov).

A flurry of applause was the reward for the performers of the vocal and choreographic composition “Gypsy Fantasy” ((composition and arrangement by I. Golubev and I. Kadomtsev, choreography by Arthur Bogdanov, soloists - People’s Artistka Russia Natalia Eliseeva, Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev, soloist of the Ensemble Evgeny Nasonov).

The song "Rosgvardia" (E. Khanok - I. Reznik), performed by the choir and orchestra of the Ensemble, as well as the vocal and choreographic composition "Valor and Honor" (music and lyrics by A. Zaitsev, soloist - Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev) were dedicated to the courage and fortitude of the defenders of our Motherland, their love for their native land and readiness for self-sacrifice.

The concert ended with the performance of the song "Victory Day" (D. Tukhmanov - V. Kharitonov, soloist - Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia Grigory Yakovlev).

The concert was hosted by the artist of the Central Academic Theater of the Russian Army Ilya Baranov and the cadet of the Cadet Corps of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation named after Alexander Nevsky Kira Kuznetsova.
