The ensemble performed a concert in Novorossiysk

The tour of the Academic Order of Merit in Culture and Art of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation continues through the cities of the Southern Federal District. On September 26, 2025, the Ensemble's team, led by the Artistic Director and Chief Conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General, Hero of Labor of Russia Viktor Eliseev , successfully performed in Krasnodar, and the next day, the audience was waiting for the artists in the Hero City of Novorossiysk.

Sprawling on the coast of the Tsemesskaya Bay of the Black Sea, the largest southern seaport of Russia, Novorossiysk attracts with its special manly beauty. Novorossiysk residents hold sacred the memory of the feat of their fathers and grandfathers during the Great Patriotic War. The heroic defense of Novorossiysk, which lasted 393 days, ended with the complete liberation of the city, which put an end to the battle for the Caucasus.

On September 27, 2025, the Marine Cultural Center in Novorossiysk was crowded with people. The creativity of the Rosgvardia Song and Dance Ensemble is close and understandable to every resident of the Hero City.

Before the concert, the acting deputy head of the Hero City of Novorossiysk Roman Karagodin addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. He emphasized the immense role of music in preserving the historical memory of our country's heroic past and in fostering patriotism among the younger generation.

With a special sense of emotion, the Novorossiysk audience listened to works of military-patriotic themes, including immortal songs from the Great Patriotic War, works by Soviet composers beloved by several generations of Russians, and modern vocal and choreographic compositions filled with civic pathos.

The concert opened with the vocal-choreographic composition "Valor and Honor" (music and lyrics by A. Zaitsev, directed by Honored Artist of Russia Ivan Zhelnov, soloist – Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev).

"The Song of the Artillerymen" (T.Khrennikov – V.Gusev), "The Song of the War Correspondents" (M.Blanter – K.Simonov, soloist – Honored Artist of the Republic of Dagestan Alexey Kholyavko), "Soldier's Suite" (a medley of soldier's songs) (composition by A.Kukharenko, soloists – Honored Artist of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic Alexander Kokhov, Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia Igor Safonov, Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia – Alania Evgeny Yakhin, soloists of the Ensemble: Konstantin KuzminAlexey BosykhMikhail Mamonov, and Viktor Lezhnin), "Smuglyanka" (A. Novikov – Y. Shvedov, soloist – Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia Grigory Yakovlev) – written during the most difficult years of the war, these songs still resonate with people of all generations.

The patriotic song tradition is also preserved by many contemporary authors. The musical compositions "I Was Born in the Soviet Union" by Oleg Gazmanov (performed by Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev and Honored Artist of the Republic of Dagestan Alexey Kholyavko) and "Let's Stand Up" by Yaroslav Dronov (performed by Evgeny Nasonov) were a powerful call to unite the Russian people.

Each concert program of the Ensemble features a variety of musical genres, including world classics, old romances, songs by Soviet composers, contemporary vocal and choreographic compositions, and songs and dances from around the world.

The Russian folk songs "Down on the Mother River, along the Volga" (arranged by V. Belyaev, soloist – Alexander Starodubrovsky) and "Korobeyniki" (poems by N. Nekrasov, soloist – Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Volzhanin), as well as a medley on the themes of Belarusian songs (soloists – Honored Artist of the Kabardino-Balkar Republic Alexander Kochov, Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia Grigory YakovlevViktor LezhninKonstantin KuzminAlexey Bosykh) and the incendiary "Lezginka", masterfully performed by bayan player Denis Adaev.

The ancient romance "Not for me" (N. Devitte – A. Molchanov) was performed today by the choir and soloist of the Ensemble – Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia Igor Safonov.

A great success among the audience was the folk-rock song "I'll go out with a horse in the field at night" (I. Matvienko – A. Shaganov), as well as the song "Argo" from the musical "Argonauts" (A. Basilaya – D. Bagashvili) performed by a vocal octet (director – Honored Artist of Russia Sergey Bazylko), the song "Argo" from the musical "Argonauts" (A. Basilaya-D. Bagashvili). "The Boys went on a spree" in the genre of chanson (music and poems by A. Kasiev, soloists-Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev and Honored Artist of the Republic of Dagestan Alexey Kholyavko) and the comic composition "I'll take you to the tundra" (M. Fradkin – M. Plyatskovsky, soloists-Honored Artists of the Republic of Buryatia Ruslan Samozhapov and Norpol Tsydenov).

The audience was greatly impressed by the performance of the Ensemble's ballet company, which performed dance routines: "Home with Victory" (staged by Honored Artist of Russia A. Safronov, arranged by A. Zarkov), "Dance with Sabres" from the ballet "Gayane" by A. Khachaturian and " Golden Khokhloma "(both dances were staged by Honored Artist of Russia Pyotr Kovalev), as well as the step "Walk along the Black Sea Coast" (A. Kroll-D.Mudugno, arranged by N. Druzhenkov, sl. A. Novozhilov, choreography by Artur Bogdanov, soloists-Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev and Roman Nepomnyashchikh).

The concert ended with the traditional "Farewell to the Slavonic" march (V. Agapkin – A. Fedotov), performed by the Ensemble's choir and orchestra.

The concert was hosted by the Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, Honored Artist of Russia, Colonel Igor Shustikov.
