Moscow (as well as any other city) is impossible to imagine without bridges, embankments, fountains, monuments, stairs, transport tunnels, flyovers, sewers, overpasses, and other engineering structures. Muscovites refer to the organization that ensures their safe operation and timely repairs as GORMOST. This year, GORMOST celebrates its 90th anniversary. To be more precise, exactly 90 years ago, in November 1935, the Specialized Trust for the Construction of Bridges and Embankments was founded, which, after numerous transformations, became the modern state budgetary institution GORMOST. Today, the institution is responsible for over two thousand facilities of various purposes, including unique structures such as the Zhivopisny Bridge, which is recognized as the longest bridge in Moscow and the highest cable-stayed bridge in Europe.
A gala event in honor of the 90th anniversary of the GORMOUST organization was held on October 28, 2025, at the Moscow Concert Hall.
Among the spectators who came to the GORMOCT anniversary today were many representatives of labor dynasties, industry veterans, and young specialists who contribute to the improvement of the capital, as well as participants in the Special Military Operation and combat veterans.
Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow Government for Housing and Communal Services and Improvement Pyotr Biryukov announced the greetings of the Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin to the employees of GBOU GORMOST on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the organization. He noted the important role of GBOU GORMOST in the development of the urban development complex of Moscow, in the system of the capital's urban economy, and also – in the restoration of residential infrastructure and fortifications in the Donetsk, Lugansk and Kursk regions.
Pyotr Biryukov awarded the Moscow Government's awards to the most distinguished employees of GBOU Gormost.
Popular performers took part in the concert program of the festive evening: People's Artists of Russia Oleg Gazmanov and Dmitry Malikov, Honored Artists of Russia Felix Tsarikati and Natasha Koroleva, as well as Stas Pieha, Polina Gagarina, Vladimir Markin, Taisiya Povaliy, and creative groups: "Ballet Todes", drum show "Hammers", the group "Gleaming", the group "Nepa" and the Academic Order of "For Merit in Culture and Art" Ensemble of Song and Dance of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation under the direction of the Artistic Director and Chief Conductor – People's Artist of Russia, Major General, Hero of Labor of Russia Victor Eliseev.
No one was left indifferent by the patriotic song "You, My Russia" (music by S. Tulikov, words by S. Tolikov). Ostrovogo) in a heartfelt performance by the People's Artist of Russia Natalia Eliseeva.
Another composition, “I’ll go out in the field with a horse at night” (music by I. Matvienko, lyrics by A. Shaganova), performed by the Vocal Octet of the Ensemble (headed by Honored Artist of Russia Sergey Bazylko), is also imbued with an endless love for the Motherland.
The concert ended with Oleg Gazmanov's song "Moscow," which he performed accompanied by the Ensemble's choir.
The concert was hosted by Svetlana Zeynalova and People's Artist of Russia Vladimir Berezin.
