The ensemble performed a concert in Tula

Having started on September 26, 2024 with a performance in the ancient Russian city of Orel, the concert tour of the Academic Order "For Merit in Culture and Art" Song and Dance Ensemble of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation under the direction of the artistic director and chief conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev continued with a concert in the hero city Tula, which took place on September 28, 2024.

Founded in the 12th century, the warrior city, the hard-working city of Tula is one of the historical and cultural centers of Russia.

Tula is widely known as a city of gunsmiths, the birthplace of samovars and gingerbread - the roots of these three crafts go deep into the history of the city. It is here that the first battlefield of Russia is located - Kulikovo, it is here that one of the largest Museums of Weapons in Russia operates. The Tula Kremlin, an architectural monument of the 16th century, is a unique fortification structure, the only fortress in Russia (and perhaps in the world) located in a lowland.

The city has more than 300 cultural heritage sites. Residents of Tula are great connoisseurs and lovers of art.

This is not the first time that the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Russian Guard has performed in Tula - the musical art of the famous military group is well known and loved here.

There were no empty seats in the concert hall of the Tula Regional Philharmonic Society named after I.A. Mikhailovsky on September 28, 2024. Among the spectators of the concert of the "Eliseevites" There were members of the families of the Russian National Guard servicemen, participants of the Special Military District, veterans of labor, and representatives of the younger generation of Tula residents. The honorary guest of the cultural event was the acting head of the Russian National Guard Department for the Tula Region, Police Lieutenant Colonel Kirill Gennadievich Kuznetsov.

The opening vocal and choreographic composition "Valor and Honor" (music and lyrics by A. Zaitsev, production by Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania Ivan Zhelnov, soloist - Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev) set the solemn patriotic tone for the entire festive evening.

The concert program, following the long-standing tradition of the Ensemble, included songs from the war years and patriotic songs by Soviet and modern authors. On the stage of the Tula Regional Philharmonic named after I.A. Today, the following works were performed at the Mikhailovsky: "March of the Artillerymen" (V. Gusev - T. Khrennikov), "Song of War Correspondents" (M. Blanter - K. Simonov, soloist - Honored Artist of the Republic of Dagestan Alexey Kholyavko), "Ballad of Mother" (E. Martynov - A. Dementyev, soloist - Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania Pavel Pushkin), "Smuglyanka" (A. Novikov - Ya. Shvedov, soloist - Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia Grigory Yakovlev), "Free Russia" (A. Novikov - S. Alymov, soloist - Honored Artist of Russia Alexei Volzhanin), "I was born in the Soviet Union" (words and music by O. Gazmanov, soloists - Honored Artist of Russia Alexei Dmitriev and Honored Artist of the Republic of Dagestan Alexei Kholyavko), a potpourri on the themes of soldiers' songs "Soldier's Suite" (composition by A. Kukharenko, soloists - Honored Artist of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic Alexander Kokhov, Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia Igor Safonov, Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania Evgeny Yakhin, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Ruslan Abdrafikov, artists of the Ensemble: Alexey Bosykh, Mikhail Mamonov and Viktor Lezhnin).

Performance by People's Artist of Russia Natalia Eliseeva, who very soulfully performed two songs by composer Alexander Averkin: “A young sailor is going on leave” (lyrics by V. Bokov) and “I want, my dear, to please you” (lyrics by A. Averkin), caused a storm of applause from the audience.

No one was left indifferent by the performance of the Russian romance “Not for me” (N. Devitte – A. Molchanov; soloist – Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia Igor Safonov), the Russian folk song “The Cossack galloped” (soloist – Dmitry Dolgy), the comic compositions “I will take you away to the tundra” (M. Fradkin – M. Plyatskovsky, soloists – Honored Artists of the Republic of Buryatia Ruslan Samozhapov and Norpol Tsydenov) and “The boys went on a spree” (S. Pavliashvili – A. Shakhunts; soloists – Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev and Honored Artist of the Republic of Dagestan Alexey Kholyavko).

Brightly decorated The highlights of the concert were the sparkling dances "Home with Victory" (directed by Honored Artist of Russia A. Safronov, arranged by A. Zarkov) and "Dance with Sabres" and vocal and choreographic compositions: "Gypsy Fantasy" (composition and arrangement by I. Golubev and I. Kadomtsev, choreography by Artur Bogdanov) accompanied by a ballet group performed by soloists People's Artist of Russia Natalia Eliseeva, Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Dmitriev and soloist of the Ensemble Evgeny Nasonov) and "Step" (soloists - Honored Artist of Russia Alexei Dmitriev and artist of the Ensemble Viktor Lezhnin).

Long applause from the audience was a reward for the artists of the vocal octet of the Ensemble (director - Honored Artist of Russia Sergei Bazylko), who performed the songs “Argo” (A. Basilia - D. Bagashvili) from the musical “The Argonauts” and “I'll Go Out into the Field with a Horse at Night” (I. Matvienko - A. Shaganov), as well as – to the members of the balalaika quartet under the direction of Ivan Stepanov, who presented the original musical number "Chairs" to the Tula public.

The concert traditionally ended with the march "Farewell of Slavyanka" (V. Agapkin, V. Lazarev).

The concert was hosted by Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, Honored Artist of Russia Colonel Igor Shustikov.

The applause of grateful spectators did not subside for a long time in the hall of the Tula Philharmonic.
