The events of the last day of September this year have already been inscribed in golden letters in the history of our country. On September 30, 2022, the Kremlin witnessed the signing of agreements on the accession of the Donetsk People's Republic, the Luhansk People's Republic, the Kherson Region, and the Zaporizhzhia Region to the Russian Federation.

The solemn ceremony was held in the Georgievsky Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace, where in 2014 the signing ceremony of a similar treaty on the return of Crimea to Russia took place. Opening the ceremony, the President of Russia noted that the residents of Donbass, Kherson, and Zaporozhye made an unambiguous choice to be together with Russia in the referendums held from September 23 to 27, 2022. He added that Russia will ensure the security of these territories, help restore their infrastructure, and never betray the people of these regions.

Red Square is the heart of the capital. The main square of the country has witnessed the most important events in our centuries-old history. It was here that a grandiose concert was held in 2014 in honor of the reunification of Crimea with Russia. And today, tens of thousands of people have gathered near the walls of the ancient Kremlin. Here, ameeting-concert was held in support of the accession of the Donetsk People's Republic, the Lugansk People's Republic, the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions to Russia.

Popular pop artists took part in the festive rally-concert: People's Artists of Russia Vasily Gorell, Oleg Gazmanov, Nikolai Rastorguev and the Lyubye band, Honored Artists of Russia Alexander Marshal, Denis Maidanov, popular bands Sobor, Poslezavtra, show-ballet Todes and many others.

- this is a famous piece of music by the composer Sergei Prokofiev to the lyrics of Vladimir Lugovsky from the famous Soviet film "Alexander Nevsky" performed by the Honored Artist of Russia Olga Kormukhina in "Get Up, Russian People!" accompanied by the choir of the Academic Ensemble of Songs and Dances of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation under the direction of the Artistic Director and Chief Conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev.

The audience greeted the performers with long and loud applause.

The work of the renowned military band is well known to the residents of Donbass. The artists of the Rosgvardia Ensemble have repeatedly toured in Donetsk together with the legendary singer, outstanding politician and citizen, People's Artist of the USSR, Iosif Kobzon.

People's Artist of Russia Nikolai Baskov also performed the song "Let's Pay Tribute to Those Great Years" (music by Alexandra Pakhmutova, lyrics by Mikhail Lvov), accompanied by the Ensemble of the National Guard of Russia. Bulat Okudzhava's song "We Need Only One Victory" was performed by Honored Artist of Russia Ildar Abdrazakov.
