It is impossible to imagine Soviet pop music without Evgeny Martynov. The velvety timbre of this famous Soviet pop singer and composer is still remembered by a whole generation of listeners. His lyrical songs were performed by pop stars: Iosif Kobzon, Maya Kristalinskaya, Anna German, Valentina Tolkunova, Eduard Khil, Sofia Rotaru, Vadim Mulerman.

Evgeny Martynov did not have any honorary titles or awards, but he was truly a People's Artist. He was loved in every corner of our country, and his kind and pure melodies were humming by everyone who had heard them at least once in their lives. These compositions brought a sense of joy and a desire to live in harmony with oneself and the world.

Evgeny Martynov's songs remain popular today. They are included in the repertoires of Philip Kirkorov, Nikolai Baskov, Yulian, Irina Shvedova, Ania Lorak, and many other performers.

The concert of the pop artists in memory of Evgeny Martynov was held on October 30, 2025, in the Church Council Hall of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. Among the audience were Muscovites and guests of the capital, fans of the singer and composer.

The concert program of the festive evening was attended by the Nikolai Nekrasov Academic Orchestra of Russian Folk Instruments of the Orpheus TV and Radio Center, People's Artists of Russia Nadezhda Krygina and Vladimir Romanov. Honored Artists of Russia Ksenia Georgiadi and Yulian, popular performers: Igor Nadzhiev, Dmitry Chebotarev, Sergey Filaretov, Ivan Dyatlov, Ekaterina Yurkova, Ivan Ilyichev, Ekaterina Brodskaya, Andrey Usanov, Mari Karne, Daniil Snopov, Sergey Dudinsky, Evgeny Yuzhin.

The performance of the Academic Order of Merit in Culture and Arts of the Ensemble of Songs and Dances of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, led by the Artistic Director and Chief Conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General, Hero of Labor of Russia Viktor Yeliseyev, was a great success with the audience.

Many older viewers remember the song "Ah, if the Earth could speak", famously performed by People's Artist of the USSR Lyudmila Zykina. In the concert, this lyrical song by composer Yuri Martynov, with lyrics by Oleg Milyavsky, took on a new dimension in the heartfelt performance of People's Artist of Russia Natalia Eliseeva. The beautiful voice and artistry of the lead soloist of the Rosgvardia Ensemble left the audience in awe.

Accompanied by the choir of the Rosgvardia Ensemble, Evgeny Martynov's songs were performed: "March-Memories" (poems by Robert Rozhdestvensky, soloist - People's Artist of Russia Vladimir Romanov) and "Ballad about Mother" (poems by Andrey Dementyev, soloist - Pavel Pushkin).

The musical evening ended with Evgeny Martynov's song "Meeting of Friends" based on the poem by Robert Rozhdestvensky, performed by all the participants of the concert. The audience did not want to let the artists go, giving them a long round of applause.

The concert was hosted by Tatyana Sudets, an Honored Artist of Russia, and Ivan Ilyichev.

The concert in memory of Evgeny Martynov became a notable event in the cultural life of the capital.

The choir group of the studio (children's ensemble) took part in the International competition "Voices of Victory. Leningrad", which was held from 8 to 11 May in St. Petersburg. In this competition, teams and solo performers from more than 10 cities competed. The choir group performed in the mixed age category and sang the songs "Childhood" by Y. Mixed Choir of the Children's Ensemble at the X Festival of Veteran Choirs

On May 10, 2026, the mixed choir of the studio (children's ensemble) performed at the opening gala concert of the 10th Moscow Open Festival of Veteran Choirs, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Battle of Moscow, in the Great Hall of the Meridian Central Concert Hall. The choir performed the following works: "The Song of the Soviet Army" by A. Alexandrov, lyrics by O. Kolychev, "Only You Could, My Russia" by S. Tulikov, lyrics by G. Khodosov, the Patriotic Song "Moscow" by M. Glinka, and "Be Happy, People!" by A. Pakhmutova, lyrics by N. Dobronravov. The event opened with a performance by the combined choirs of all the participating choirs, which included the songs "My Moscow" by I. Dunaevsky, lyrics by M. Lisyansky, "The Song of the Defenders of Moscow" by B. Mokrousov, lyrics by A. Surkov, and "My Dear Muscovites" by I. Dunaevsky, lyrics by V. Massa and M. Chevinsky.
