At the end of March 2025, the ensemble’s children's ballet went to the XXIV International Competition-the festival of musical and artistic creativity “Treasures of Karelia” in Petrozavodsk.

The rich program for the children of our team included a sightseeing tour of the city with visiting local attractions, a master class in the Museum "Slyudarium", familiarization with the collection of the ethnographic museum, a walk along the embankment of Lake Onega and a visit to the most cheerful village of Kandasovo. And visiting the nursery of the sledi -bark and Husky melted the hearts of everyone, without exception, leaving wonderful photos as a keepsake.

But our program was not only informative - excursion. In the stubborn struggle against choreographic groups that came to the festival from all over Russia, the children's ballet took the main prize of the competition - the Grand Prix of the Karelia Treasures festival for the numbers “Timona” and “Palette”, became the owner of a special prize for the bright figurative compositional decision of the number - “Fairytale Birds”, laureate of the 1st degree in the senior age group and the senior age group and the senior age group and The 2nd degree laureate in the average age group, our duets also became laureates of the 2nd and 3rd degrees.

This trip became an excellent final chord for our graduates of eleventh graders, ahead of which has complex exams, but the work and choreography, the years spent with the children's ballet of the Academic Ensemble of the Russian Guard will forever remain in their heart.

Participation in a festival dedicated to the composer A. P. Averkin

One of the glorious traditions of Russian musical culture is the annual (since 1997) All-Russian Festival of Folk Art in memory of Alexander Averkin, an Honored Artist of Russia and a composer, held in the Sasovo Municipal District of the Ryazan Region. In 2026, the XXIX All-Russian Festival of Folk Art, dedicated to the composer A.P. Averkin, combines two themes. The main theme of the event is the memory and creative legacy of Alexander Petrovich Averkin, the author of over 800 works that remain popular today. But the fact that this year's festival is being held in the composer's homeland gives it a special significance. Exactly 100 years ago, in the summer of 1926, the village of Sasovo was officially declared a city by the Presidium of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee.
