The ensemble performed the National Anthem of Moscow in the TV program "Mood" on the "TV Center" channel

"My dear capital - my golden Moscow!" - these lines of the Moscow anthem find a response in the heart of not only every Muscovite, but also every Russian. This year, the Moscow anthem turns 30 years old - on July 14, 1995, by the Law of the City of Moscow No. 15-51 "On the Anthem of the City of Moscow", the song by Isaak Dunaevsky with lyrics by Mark Lisyansky and Sergey Agranyan was approved as the official anthem of the capital of our Motherland.

The history of the song's creation is amazing. First, the verses were born - they (in the original version) were written in November 1941 by a journalist and poet, commander of a sapper platoon, Junior Lieutenant Mark Lisyansky, returning in a passing truck from the hospital to his 243rd rifle division, which participated in the Battle of Moscow. During a short stop at Pushkin Square, the poet managed to give the poem "My Moscow" to the editors of the magazine "Novy Mir".

In the spring of 1942, the poem published in the magazine was seen by the composer Isaak Dunaevsky, who immediately wrote the notes right on the margins of the magazine. After an unsuccessful attempt to find Lisyansky's front-line address, he asked the director of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Central House of Culture of Railway Workers, Sergei Agranyan, to finish the text. In particular, Agranyan added a stanza dedicated to the feat of the 28 Panfilov soldiers, who shortly before that stopped the advance of tanks on Moscow on the Volokolamsk Highway.

In the spring of 1943, the Ensemble under the direction of Isaak Dunaevsky performed "My Moscow" at one of the government concerts in Moscow, and the song had to be repeated several times as an encore.

"And the enemy will never achieve that your head bows" - these lines from the song "My Moscow" are carved on a monument erected in 1966, in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the Victory near Moscow, on the 23rd kilometer of the Leningradskoe Shosse - on the very spot where the Nazi hordes were stopped in 1941.

The song, which became a symbol of resistance to the occupiers and the unity of the Soviet people to repel the enemy, has been the official anthem of the capital for 30 years. Today, in the year of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, in the year declared by the President of Russia V.V. Putin as the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland, the song takes on a special sound.

Today, April 16, 2025, the choir of the Academic Order "For Merit in Culture and Art" of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation under the direction of the artistic director and chief conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General, Hero of Labor of Russia Viktor Eliseev performed the Anthem of Moscow for the TV show "Mood" of the TVC channel (soloist - Honored Artist of the Republic of Dagestan Alexey Kholyavko). On one of the pre-holiday days, TV viewers will see the Ensemble's performance on the morning broadcast.

Participation in a festival dedicated to the composer A. P. Averkin

One of the glorious traditions of Russian musical culture is the annual (since 1997) All-Russian Festival of Folk Art in memory of Alexander Averkin, an Honored Artist of Russia and a composer, held in the Sasovo Municipal District of the Ryazan Region. In 2026, the XXIX All-Russian Festival of Folk Art, dedicated to the composer A.P. Averkin, combines two themes. The main theme of the event is the memory and creative legacy of Alexander Petrovich Averkin, the author of over 800 works that remain popular today. But the fact that this year's festival is being held in the composer's homeland gives it a special significance. Exactly 100 years ago, in the summer of 1926, the village of Sasovo was officially declared a city by the Presidium of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee.
