The ensemble took part in the campaign "Dictation of Victory"

The international educational campaign "Victory Dictation", dedicated to the celebration of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War, has been held since 2019 as part of the "Historical Memory" project of the United Russia party. The main goal of this test - the largest in the world - is to attract the attention of the general public to the study of history, to preserve the memory of the feat of the Soviet people in the fight against Nazism.

The "Victory Dictation", held on April 25, 2025, was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Opening the "Victory Dictation" at the Victory Museum on Poklonnaya Gora in Moscow, the Chairman of the United Russia party, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev emphasized that this anniversary event has a special significance:

"The current "Dictation" helps not only to better understand our past, but also to understand modern events more deeply and accurately, to realize the need to defend the Motherland at any historical stage in order to confidently look to the future."

Dmitry Anatolyevich noted that over the past 7 years, the "United Russia" initiative has outgrown the framework of an educational project and has become a serious patriotic movement.

Every year, the number of those who want to express their gratitude and respect to the creators of the Great Victory is growing - this year, more than two million people in all regions of Russia and in 90 other countries will write the "Victory Dictation".

Before the start of the "Victory Dictation", the choir of the Academic Order "For Merit in Culture and Art" of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, under the direction of the artistic director and chief conductor, People's Artist of Russia, Major General, Hero of Labor of Russia Viktor Eliseev, performed the Russian Anthem (A. Alexandrov - S. Mikhalkov), the song "Sacred War" (A. Alexandrov - V. Lebedev-Kumach), which has become the anthem of the defense of the Fatherland for millions of Russians of different generations, the bravura "March of the Artillerymen" (T. Khrennikov - V. Gusev) and the song "Farewell of Slavyanka" (V. Agapkin - A. Fedotov), which has become one of the most recognizable "musical symbols" of the Russian Empire, the Soviet Union and the Russian Federation. Accompanied by the Ensemble choir and the Domisolka Children's Ensemble, Honored Artist of Russia Denis Maidanov and People's Artist of Russia Larisa Dolina performed the song "To Know, to Remember" (the author of the music and lyrics is Honored Artist of Russia Denis Maidanov).

There is no doubt that the "Victory Dictation" will help to increase public interest - first of all, young people - in the events of the war years, to develop their love for the Motherland and responsibility for the fate of their country.

Participation in a festival dedicated to the composer A. P. Averkin

One of the glorious traditions of Russian musical culture is the annual (since 1997) All-Russian Festival of Folk Art in memory of Alexander Averkin, an Honored Artist of Russia and a composer, held in the Sasovo Municipal District of the Ryazan Region. In 2026, the XXIX All-Russian Festival of Folk Art, dedicated to the composer A.P. Averkin, combines two themes. The main theme of the event is the memory and creative legacy of Alexander Petrovich Averkin, the author of over 800 works that remain popular today. But the fact that this year's festival is being held in the composer's homeland gives it a special significance. Exactly 100 years ago, in the summer of 1926, the village of Sasovo was officially declared a city by the Presidium of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee.
